It is a toss up between 1983's Pyromania and 1987's Hysteria because I think that they are both masterpieces. However, I am going to go with Hysteria because it was one of the albums that really got me into rock music and that is something that stays with you forever. I had a friend who introduced my to Hysteria in July 1988 (the summer before I started 7th grade). "Pour Some Sugar On Me" had just been released as a single and Def Leppard were everywhere. On the radio. On MTV (yeah, they once actually did play music  ). My friend and I listened to Hysteria and GN'R's Appetite For Destruction everyday that entire summer. With money I recieved for my 12th birthday that August I went out and bought my own copies of both albums. The summer of 1988 was one of the greatest times of my life and Hysteria brings back many wonderful memories. Of course, in late August of 1988 I began 7th grade (and therefor junior high) and began the worst two years of my life, but that is a different thread all together.

I agree, I like both Pyromania and Hysteria, but picked Pyro! Also liked X. Are you going to see them during their current tour???

I can't. Don't have the money. :( I have seen them before though. The first time being during the Adrenalize tour in 1992. :happyface

Cool, at least you have seen them. I think they are the coolest guys, because of the way they stood by Rick when he lost his arm. True gentlemen.

I am a big fan of High and Dry, but I LOVE "Rock Brigade" from On Through the Night.
