Are any of you guys fan of good old 1980's comedies??? I'am. I loved Airplane, all of the National Lampoon's Vacation movies, and all of those really cheap 80's teen flicks. I remember watching Zapped a few years ago, and laughing my socks off. Another good 80's comedy was Sixteen Candles wth Molly Ringwald and Anthony Michael Hall.

I can use this to complain! First of all, I'm mad at GSN because they dropped Lover's Lounge just as it was starting to get watchable. Once they got rid of that blond, things were better. But now I won't get a chance to see anymore Tattletales during the week and now GSN won't get a chance to rerun the Martin Milner interview! I missed it and am SOOOOOO MAD!!!!!!! Luck is not on my side.

But they are showing back-to-back Family Feud. At least that's good.

Tony and Angela go their seperate ways--Tony in Iowa coaching a baseball team and Angela remained in Connecticut. He got an award and decided he wasn't happy because he couldn't show his plaque to anyone. So he comes back and she's in the same outfit she was in when they met as she answers the door. He says 'I heard you're looking for a housekeeper?' And after about 2 more minutes of talking, they kiss and decide to work things out as Tony again became the housekeeper. It was a pretty good ending.

CARDINALS RULE!!!!!!

I thought I would share my stupidity in the kitchen. The kitchen is one place I need to conquer and I did the stupidist thing tonight (which for me is pretty stupid). My mom asked me to put the Green Giant Packaged Corn in the microwave that comes in the plastic packet. Anyway, I forgot to put a slit in the plastic and this HUGE airbubble created! Luckily it popped after we stopped the microwave and the corn stayed in the plastic container. It gave everyone a good laugh and my sister asked if they could ship me back to school, but I said isn't it more amusing with me home to which they couldn't deny! As a public service announcement please remember to cut a slit in your frozen vegetables before putting them in the microwave. I'm now going to have to hear about it all summer! I think this was my stupidist move in the kitchen ever!

What gets me are the good shows like the Odd Couple that never cracked the top 25 but are such classics now. They didn't realize that then? Maybe it was competition.

All In The Family was another drop-off. When it was called AITF, it was in the top 10, but when it was changed to Archie Bunker's Place, it only made it to the top 25 usually.

That's nothing. Picket Fences first year (1992-1993) it was 80 in the ratings. (the next year? 66) Cheers was at least number 77 in it's first year 1982-1983, by the 1989-1990 season (I think) it was number one.

I don't think so, but your Dads thinking that it's about drugs is a pretty good guess. I think that the song was meant out to be about love and life, and that kind of stuff, but it was said out to be a drugs-related song to many people who listened to the song. I personnaly don't think so, but I heard that many people have the idea that it is a drugs-related song.

Ok guys, I'm ready to study. I have watched an analyzed "Take My Finals Please" and I'm am ready to take my finals on Thursday--my final day of school. I am proud to report that I know what food to buy and believe you me I WILL make sure the alarm is plugged up in case I decide to nap.

omg i am so depressed the sox lost to yanks! its all cuz they are having managment problems and manny is going to be in left field soon cuz hes going have to be cuz of national league play...the sox need some power hitters, i mean they are getting hits just a lot of random ones...we could use Nomar back right bout now(still got till all star break) and also soxs could use another starter..cones down Tomo Ohka up... ok i could ramble on bout how the sox should get a good second baseman and keep jose offerman at first, soxs should make a deal with yankees...

Ok, here was the week leading up to my last week of school:

Monday: review for exams.

Tuesday: quiz in Science

Wednsday: quiz in Science&History
test: Worldviews, Math, and Spanish

Thursday: quiz: Science
speech: English

Ick, Ks, that sucks, all those quizzes and everything... Yesterday I had my grammar final, today I had my History final (open note, thank God. Over the year we've had to outline 9 chapters in the book, so I pretty much had the book in my notes) and I had part one of my Algebra final. Tomorrow I have part two in Algebra, my Latin final (all matching). Friday I have part three in Algebra. Next Monday I have my band final and in Science a test over a project we're doing right now where we draw floor plans for a house, add furniture, outlets, and switches, and fill out a chart with what appliances we would use for each outlet, and how many watts and amps that it would be and tomorrow we're going to something with circuits.... it sucks. My friend's class is just making bottle-rockets... Anyway, Tuesday is my last day and I only have half my classes 'cause eighth graders only have classes half the day then we're going to hang out in the gym. But since it's shortened periods 'cause we get out an hour early, I have periods 1-6 (out of 8)... And it really sucks because another junior high in our district took their eighth graders to Kings Island.. we didn't get any field trip! All we get is 3 hours in a gym. Whoopee. And since next year there will be roughly 1200 students in my school, and all in the same grade, I highly doubt we'll get a field trip and this makes me mad.

2 days (during class)- "Oral examination"- our teacher interviews us in Spanish
2 days (during class)- write an essay in Spanish about a favorite vacations and our recent class trip to Washington DC...
2 days- "normal" tests- 1 day reading comp (Multiple Choice!! YES!!!) and one day fill-ins about grammer

'Cause I've gotten A+s all quarter and he drops the lowest test score, so I didn't have to take it! We got our yearbooks today. Icky, my picture is horrid. And besides my school and band pictures, I'm not in it... ::sigh:: Oh well. My friend's moving to Japan... so I won't get to see her next year. And another friend's going to a private school.... It looks like I'll be allllllll alone! Well, I'll have some friends, but... still. Wish me luck! The Happy Days contest is almost over and I want first!!! I'm in second at the moment, I believe. Way back then when I was just a little bitty boy, I lived in a box under the stairs in the corner of the basement of the house half a block from Jerry's Paint shop. Well, you know the place. Anyway, life was going swell and everything was juuuuuust PEACHY. Except of course the fact the every single morning my mother would make me a big old bowl of sour crout for breakfast.

So he grabbed my leg and I grabbed his asophagus and I bit off his ear and he chewed off my eyebrows and I took out his appendix and he gave me a (?) and somewhere in the middle of it all the phone got knocked off the hook. Twenty seconds later, I heard a familiar voice. You know what it said? I'll tell you what it said 'If you like to make a call, please hang up and try again, if you need help hang up and then dial your operator. If you like to make a call, please hang up and try again. Well, he eventually got away with my snorkle.But I swore that I would not rest, I would not sleep for an instant until (?). But first I decided to buy some doughnuts.
So I got in my car and drove over to the doughnut shop and went to the guy behind the counter and he says 'Yeeeeaaaaaahhhh, what do you want?'
I say, you got any glazed doughnuts?'

So he hands me the box and I open up the lid and the weasels immediately jump out and start latching onto my face-aw, man, they were just going nuts! And it was about that time a little ditty started going through my head. It went something like this:
DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! GET 'EM OFF ME, GET 'EM OFF ME!!!!!!! DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!
I was running on the streets with these flesh eating weasels on me waving my arms all around and runnin' runnin' runnin' like a weiner dog. And that's exactly when I ran into the girl of my dreams. Her name was Zelda...

Well, things really started looking up for me, because about a week later I finally achieved my life long dream. That's right, I got me a part time job at the Scizzler. I even made employee of the month after I put out that grease fire with my face. Everyone was pretty jealous of me after that. I was getting a lot of attitude! Oh, yeah, like one time, I was out in the parking lot trying to remove my X-X-earwax with a golf pencil, and I see this guy Marty carrying a sofa up the stairs all by himself. So I say 'Hey, Marty! Ya want me to help ya with that?' And Marty, he just rolls his eyes and goes 'NOOOOOOO!! I WANT YOU TO CUT OFF MY ARMS AND LEGS WITH A CHAINSAW!'
So I did.
