1- Whitney Houston lives in my town!! We saw her at the Black Horse once!!
2- Piper Perabo (Coyote Ugly) went to my camp!!!
3- Julia Stiles went to my other camp...

That's all!! haha I don't think anyone else famous lives near me..

And a really good friend of mine has been on an ep of Touched by and Angel, and a Disney Channel movie called "Wish Upon a Star" and she's in a Feature Film for Family movie called Rigaletto. Oh yeah, she was also in the movie 'Drive Me Crazy' but she didn't have a big part in that though.

Ok, here are my connections to famous people:

I used to work security for George Strait when he performed in concert down here. (I was in the Sheriff's Department Explorers. Thats high school kids interested in law enforcement. We work side by side with the deputies. We would go on patrol with them, we were trained in firearms and everything.) Anyway, he found out about us one year and invited us back stage after the concert and ordered some pizza for us to eat with him. :D (That was cool)

My dad grew up with Jimmy Johnson. They used to play street football together. (Jimmy Johnson was the headcoach of the Dallas Cowboys several years back when they were winning the superbowl)

My sister graduated college with Dat Nguyen (He is a football player with the Dallas Cowboys.) When she lived up in Irving, he would give my sister his ticket that they are given for family members.

My brother knows President Bush. I have a picture hanging up in my house that (then Governor Bush) gave to my brother before my brother moved to D.C. (I also received a Christmas card from President Bush this year :) )

He also knows Former President Bush. Infact, my brother was invited to the opening of the George Bush Presidential Library in College Station. He got tickets for my sister who was living there at the time and she sat beside Arnold Schwartzenager (sp?)

I know Rick Perry (He's the governor of Texas. He is a really great guy. My brother knew him first when he was the Texas Ag Commissioner and he introduced him to my sister and I.)

I know Greg Abbott, he is a former Texas Supreme Court Justice and is currently running for the Attorney General's office.

I also met David Dewhurst. He is the Land Commisioner in Texas. He is currently running for Lt. Governor.

(Yes I know, I know ALOT of politicians. What can I say, my family is into politics.)

My cousin was an extra in the movie "Honey I Blew up the Kid"

(Karli likes this one) The Tejano singer Selena is from the town just north of me.

The movie "Pearl Harbor" was partially filmed in the city just north of me. They used the USS Lexington as the carriers for both sides in the movie. Cuba Gooding Jr. and Ben Aflick came down here for about a week to do the scenes on it. :)

There was a movie filmed down here while I was in high school. I don't remember the name exactly, but it took place in the 60's They used an old bar as the backdrop of the movie. I'll have to try to remember what it was called. hmm...
