I disagree because it's not like he is starring in the show, he is just behind the scenes. Maybe they think the show has some potential. I will admit though out of all the UPN shows, this is the only show that doesn;t give off a Ghetto/Hip Hop vibe

It's actually gotten funnier since Tia left! I was tired of my baby's daddy drama that bog it down. I kind of wish they would make Tia Campbell's Carmen a recurring role. She is too too funny! Not to mention to see husband and wife play brother and sister is funny in it of itself! :lol:

On the season finale, Robert's sister comes to visit on the notion that she has changed and is starting over a new leap. While she is there, she goes out of her way to get Robert and Niecy back together. When they both talk to her about it, they say its over and they are simply parents of a child together, that is all. Robert asks her what is the true motive and she confesses that when he had a big argument with Niecy years ago and wrote an apology letter, she took it as she was made with Niecy too. Robert ponders with Dirk on what could have happened so he decides to give her the letter anyway explaining what really happened. Niecy hesitates to read it but when she is alone, she starts to read it and thinks and walks up the stairs to talk to Robert.... The show ends until next seaon.

Sources say that the series, which stars Duane Martin, LisaRaye McCoy and Tony Rock (Chris' brother) and is produced by Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, was set to be cancelled and was not planned to be on the fall roster for the new CW Network. Insiders told BV Buzz that it was actually 'Half & Half' that was supposed to join the urban-lineup at the CW, until Rock placed a call to CBS Chairman Les Moonves and asked him to save his sibling's series.


Apparently, at the eleventh hour, 'Half & Half' was given the ax-despite its executive producer Yvette Lee Bowser wowing the CW brass with her presentation-and the struggling 'All of Us' was given the green light. A rep for CW said the decision to bring 'All of Us' back just fit what the network was trying to do with that two-hour show block. "I don't believe there's anything to that," Paul McGuire said about the rumors.


Nonetheless, Hollywood insiders are likening 'All of Us' to a cat, joking that the series has nine lives. Apparently, this would be the second time that 'All of Us' was slated to be cancelled but was spared. The show was not supposed to return for the 2005-2006 TV season and producers at Warner Bros. were moments from pulling the plug on the show. That time, it was Smith who supposedly placed the call and had the series saved. It returned without co-stars Elise Neal and Terri J. Vaughn.

Frankly, I'm surprised that this mediocre series even made it past season 1. Now it looks like it will run long enough to make it too off network repeats. All because of the influence of the people behind the scenes. Duane Martin has been in a bunch of flops, so now he can say that he's been in a successful show.

I haven't watched All Of Us in so long. I don't know what's going on. The show is so boring. That's why i stopped watching it. Out All Night was a good tv show for Duane Martin. Him and Vivica Fox had good chemistry on that show.

They fighting hard to get that syndication money off this show as other Duane Martin projects never made it past two seasons. Half and Half was a much better series and should have been given another season or at least midseason replacement status.

You're right about them keeping this show around so they can make money off of the repeats. It is a very mediocre series and Duane Martin has been in a bunch of flop series to date. They promoted the hell out of Everybody Hates Chris. I never seen UPN spend that much money and time promoting a show and did wonders for them. Too bad it couldn't carry an entire night as all the other shows were cancelled. Once it gets enough to syndicate, which now its 100 episodes, they will give it the ax. Girlfriends came in at the right time I think (the network needed another show to brand the network around). Moesha was getting stale and losing viewers. It was cancelled during Girlfriends' first year.

I heard they were trying to put Robert and Neesee back together in the finale, well for them to get rid of Tia to make the show more "unpredictable" they sure have made it more predictable than it originally was. That's another reason why I stopped watching, I never liked the idea of Robert and Neesee getting back together and as soon as I heard they dropped Tia I knew they were going to put them back together somehow. I really don't care to see Robert, Neesee, and Bobby become a happy family again, that's not what the show was suppose to be about. It was better when it was Neesee vs Robert and Tia.

CW is giving the show a chance to an extent, but if I heard correctly and the show is going to be on Sunday nights then in a way they are sabataging it as well, with being up against Desperate Housewives, The Simpsons, and sometimes football. There is no way a pitiful show like All of us can survive against those shows. So I predict this will be the last season or by mid-season it will be gone.

I believe Reba will end up replacing All of Us if that happens because they gave it a last minute renewal banking on the fact that one of the sitcoms will fail. Initially, i'm not sure if it was mentioned in this forum already or not, All of Us was slated to get the ax and Half and Half was getting renewed. This time around Chris Rock made the call and saved the show. That is what is being reported on BlackVoices Inside Hollywood talk. If I was Yvette Lee Bowser, I would be pissed again that another one of my good shows gets the ax for some crap. Remember how Living Single was replaced by Between Brothers and For Your Love was replaced by some other long forgotten crap on NBC and then WB. But remember, when her shows get the ax, the show that succeeds it in the timeslot doesn't last long.

Monday nights have always been big for UPN and CW should have maintained that. Remember how horrible Sundays were when the WB tried to do a night of programming with sitcoms. My bets that the night will be quickly revamped and Everybody Hates Chris and Girlfriends will be moved to another night.

I hope they end up moving Everybody Hates Chris and Girlfriends. I think those are two good shows that really helped UPN.

Those shows definetly carry their weight. I think Monday night would have been the better night for the sitcoms. I am surprised that 7th Heaven is coming back. I thought that show was supposed to end last season.
