New 2006-2007 Sitcoms


Exes and Hos:
Starring Jane Leeves plays Dr. Natalie Weston, a self-titled "happy divorcee" who soon learns her ex-husband, Jake Weston (Steven Weber) is now engaged to his former-stripper girlfriend, Lizzy Carter (A.J. Langer). Natalie, whos a pediatrician, and Jake, whos a lawyer, have two kids together: Kendra Weston (age 6) and Tyler Weston (age 3). Natalie becomes jealous of how Lizzy is in her ex-hubby's and children's lives now. Natalie vents her jealousy and anger with/to her longtime best friend, Maryanne Thomas (Crystal Bernard). Maryanne and her hubby, Bob (Bryan Cranston) try their best to maintain their good marriage, due to the fact that all their married friends are now divorced and unhappy.

Second Time Around:
Starring Woody Harrelson and Lauren Graham play Grant and Brooke Anderson. They were married at age 19, divorced at 23, and remarried recently. Grant and Brooke try their best to reconnect and move past their prior attempt at marriage (at such young age). Grant is a sports columnist for the newspaper, and Brooke is a beautican for a local salon. Grant's bachelor brother, Scott Anderson (Seann William Scott) lives nearby and always drops by unannounced. Brooke's hopelessly single best friend, Paige Foster (Jenna Elfman) also lives nearby (actually to be exact, she lives in same apartment building as Scott) and also frequently drops by unannounced. Grant and Brooke ponder over starting a family, Grant is almost 40 and wants to have a family before its too late, and Brooke somedays wants children yet is still unsure (secretly) if Grant is who she really wants to be her kids' dad.

Five Times The Mom:
Starring Jane Seymour plays Gina Michaels, a widowed mother of five children who battles her career, her kids, and life itself. Gina is a well-known wedding planner in Buffalo, New York. Gina's deceased husband, Aaron Michaels died three years ago in a severe (and well-known) car crash. Gina and the late Aaron's five children including: the popular cheerleader-Tiffany Michaels, 17 (Megan Fox), the girl-crazed wannabe-Bryan Michaels, 15 (Jacob Smith), the drama queen-Megan Michaels, 12 (Morgan York), the brainy yet funny-Nicky Michaels (age 8), and the cute and (not-so) innocent-Darla Michaels (age 5). Gina truly has her hands full with her job as wedding planner and her five kids. Gina's best friend and co-worker, Marlene Reynolds (Annie Potts) drops by and helps Gina out with the kids. Marlene is like "a second mom" or "a cool aunt" to the kids (even though there is no relation whatsoever).

Life With Dr. Brown:
Starring Dennis Farina plays Dr. Gary Brown, a soon-to-be retired Philadelphia surgeon, who lives with his supportive second wife of 18 years, Pam Brown (Jean Smart). Gary has been married once before he married Pam. Gary and his ex-wife, Laura Brown (Christine Baranski) had two children together: the 26-year-old college dropout, Eric Brown (Will Friedle) and the 22-year-old daddy's girl, Tina Brown (Lacey Chabert). Eric and Tina both never worked a day in their lives and are good at mooching off their mom, and their dad and stepmom. Eric lives with Laura in her basement apartment, as where Tina lives in her old childhood bedroom at Gary and Pam's. Laura's a PR Representative for a major corporation, and Pam is a housewife and hasn't had a job since she and Gary got married 18 years ago. Gary and Laura are civil towards each other yet still are disgusted and very annoyed by each other. Pam is well-liked by everyone, even Laura-which bugs the hell out of Gary at times. Gary doesn't want to retire from his career of being a surgeon due to the fact thats what he knows how to do and is good at it.

Living Together:
Starring Matthew Lawrence and Kellie Shanygne Williams play Chad Burke and Nicole Stewart, a newly engaged couple who decide to purchase a house (well, half of duplex!). Chad's parents and Nicole's parents are not fond of the other set of parents (yet adore their child's mate), as well as moving in together and living in sin together. Chad's white-collared parents are Dave and Bonnie Burke (Ted Dansen, Meredith Vieira). Nicole's blue-collared parents are Tom and Annette Stewart (Charlie Robinson, Alfre Woodard). Both Chad and Nicole try their best to get their parents to get along yet don't have much luck in doing so. Chad's best friend/big brother, Joel Burke (Joseph Lawrence) drops by often and helps with the feud between the Stewarts and the Burkes. And to make matters more stressful, Nicole and Chad learn that Nicole is two weeks pregnant. The newly engaged couple, along with Joel's help, decide to plan and prepare the wedding without their parents learning she is indeed pregnant BEFORE their wedding.

Life After College:
Starring Christy Carlson Romano plays Vicky Phelps, an intelligent and studious recent college graduate who returns back to her hometown (Cleveland, Ohio). Although Vicky maintained her 4.0 GPA and High Honors, she too experienced college like many other young adults. Vicky was the honor student by day and party girl by night. Vicky graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. Vicky now returns back to her hometown, where things aren't exactly what she remembers. Vicky's beloved parents: Jack Phelps (Scott Bakula) and Kim Phelps (Elizabeth Perkins) have been separated for the past two months. Jack is the Vice Principal at Monroe High School, and Kim is a lawyer at a prestigous law firm. Vicky is appalled at the knowledge of her parents separation. Vicky's younger 16-year-old sister, Lauren Phelps (Willa Holland) used to be cute and innocent now is rebellious and promiscuous. Yet Vicky finds herself back with her high school best friend, Hayley Miller (Anneliese van der Pol). Vicky and Hayley are just as close as they used to be before Vicky left for Columbia and Hayley enrolled into a community college. Yet tensions rise when Hayley's longtime divorced-turned-single mom, Dawn Miller (Morgan Fairchild) starts to become attracted and have her eye on Vicky's newly-separated dad, Jack. Let the problems begin !

My Life As Mary:
Starring Lara Flynn Boyle plays Mary Mason-Winters, a quirky yet sarcastic executive producer of a Chicago morning talk show. Mary lives in with her older, single sister, Sarah Mason (Teri Hatcher) and Mary's 8-year-old daughter, Elle Mason-Winters (Elle Fanning). Mary's ex-husband/Elle's father, Gavin Winters (Christopher Rich) lives across town with his beautiful fiancee, Leah Thomas (Debra Messing). Gavin and Leah work their own coffee shop nearby Mary's studio. Gavin and Mary have been divorced for the past three years (ever since Elle was 5). Gavin and Mary remain civil towards each other, especially when around Elle--even though they did get divorced and still do agrue and fight with each other on occasion. Mary's best friend (besides her sister), Holly Reinhart (Molly Ringwald) is the stage manager for Mary's morning talk show (which is called Wake Up Chicago). Mary, along with Sarah and Holly, experience the trials and tribulations of being in the dating world as single thirtysomething women. Mary must master the art of dating, career, divorce, money, children, life, love, jealousy, stress, and so much more that enters her everyday life (both good and bad).
