Love is patient and kind, it is not jealous or conceited or proud; love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil but with the truth. Love never gives up, and its faith, hope, and patience never fail. Meanwhile these three remain: faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is love.

I remember going to a cave, The Baseball Hall Of Fame, Farmer's Market, and a bunch of other places. And I'm not kidding about the cave.

Nothing this year. Lakota is one of the biggest districts in Ohio, yet they never have enough money for field trips. Why? Because they pay the teachers so much. I mean, it's still not a great salary, but it's a lot more than most of the districts around here. I've been on 5 field trips in 9 years. In kindergarten, we went to a farm. I milked a goat. It was not fun. First grade, went to the Cincinnati Zoo. Not that fun. Fifth grade, the Omnimax theatre and museum. That was pretty cool. There were caves in the museum. Also in fifth grade, my class (not the whole grade) went to see Chinese Acrobats. But Lakota didn't pay for it. My teacher's friend bought it at an auction, so we went. In sixth grade, we wet to some museum in Cincinnati. Since then, nothin'.

We don't get a class trip until our senior year because our school is only 3 years old so they don't have that much money. In 5th grade we went camping in Sacramental for a week.

In eigth grade, my whole class went to Six Flags Marine World. It really sucked. In previous years, the class got to go to Great America ( which is LOADS better than ANY Six Flags), but the district decided to go cheap.
But the Senior Class at my high school got to go to DisneyLand. They're actually there right now, I believe...

During crew season I went to North Carolina, Indiana, Tennessee, no-where PA, and Philly all in the span of a couple months. My 8th grade class trip and senior class trip were to Kings Island in Cincinatti (I know we were really original!). In high school we had school trips. My freshmen year we went to North Carolina in the Black Mountains. Sophomore year it was to Estes Park, CO. Junior year we went to Clinton's inaguaration. Senior year it was back to CO, but I didn't go. From that aspect my high school was really cool because we did get those opportunities. I could write a book on everything I hated about high school though!

I wish we could go to Kings Island for a field trip! Half of the school has season passes anyway, and the other half don't like it. So they could just stay home and the rest could go. But it would be a total disaster. They would lose track of so many people, and they probably wouldn't let us ride stuff like Vortex or Face Off or anything ("Too dangerous"). Wonder if they'd let us ride the Beast... good ride.

The Beast is a good roller coaster. I've never riden the Vortex before because I refused to wait in line and I refuse to ride the King Cobra. Adventure Express cracks me up the whole time, especially at the end. I know someone who rode all the roller coasters, then rode the foward Racer, went on the backwards Racer and it was all over with! I haven't been since 98, but I would love to ride the new wooden roller coaster that the name escapes me at the minute. Top Gun is my favorite!

Actually, this Friday I just got back from a school trip to Washington DC!! Our school is really rich, we stayed in a Hyatt Regency!! We met another school group and they stayed at Best Western and they had to tape their doors shut and have security guards and junk!
!! I forgot other field trips!!
We also go in to New York a lot for field trips. We go in to see shows on Broadway. We've seen Footloose, Annie Get your Gun and Ragtime on Broadway with school. Yeah and we have lunch at cool places like Planet Hollywood and Mars 2112 (ITS THE COOLEST)

Stephanie: Nice move. Did you make that up?
Tony: Yeah, well I saw it on TV first, then I made it up.

Our class basically gets a trip every so years. I go to a K-12 school where for some graduating-into-the-next-grade usually we get a trip... this year we're going to New York tomorrow but it's supposed to rain. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif We'll still get there, but probably just a little later! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

LoL, actually the Vortex line goes really fast, usually faster than the Beast line. The new wooden roller coaster is Son of Beast. I want to ride it, but I heard that even though it goes upside down, there's just a bar to hold you in. My favorite rides are the Beast and Outer Limits. Adventure Express is hilarious; my friend and I love to ride in the very front and make fun of the people who are scared of it. We meet someone interesting everytime we ride it. Top Gun is okay, but to me it was kind of a gyp 'cause I rode it whe it first came out and waited 4 hours for a 30 second ride, lol! But now the line's shorter so I ride it.
