Regarding the fate of The King of Queens, another source told me yesterday that "the show is definitely dead." Still no confirmation from CBS.

at least sitcomsonline is with us. in the news section they even agree that the series should comeback mid season for 6 or 13 episodes for a proper season finale. that's good enough for me.

Bit of a shame, to be true. It's one of those sitcoms that didn't look like much but when you started watching it was pretty damn funny. I imagine Leah Remini's ballooning weight didn't help things- I thought she still looked hot, but network people tend to...well, think all women should be skinny "Desperate Housewives" types.

Over at CBS, it now seems certain that King Of Queens won't return until midseason, if it does at all. Series star Kevin James' commitment to Universal's I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, opposite Adam Sandler, means he won't be available to film enough episodes for a fall launch.
