*Opportunity does not knock, and then ring the doorbell, and then knock again, and then leave a note that says, "Sorry I missed you" and then call you on the phone.*
Stephanie: Nice move. Did you make that up?
Tony: Yeah, well I saw it on TV first, then I made it up.

Well, i just finished this book called '"Black Boy" and the first part was good but then the second part was really dull. But the first part was tight and they should have left off the second part.

Ooh, I love books! Right now my class is reading Fahrenheit 451, which is really good. And I'm bored so I'll list my favorite books! Dreadful Sorry, The Glass House People, Time Windows, Pale Phoenix (All by Kathryn Reiss), The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, The Amber Spyglass (The 3 parts of the "His Dark Materials" trilogy by Philip Pullman), The Ruby in the Smoke (the first of the Sally Lockhart trilogy by Philip Pullman. Haven't read the other two yet), Good Night Mr. Tom (By Michelle somebody-or-other), The Westing Game (Ellen Raskin), Gallows Hill, Don't Look Behind You, Stranger With my Face, Daughters of Eve, Down a Dark Hall, Killing Mr. Griffin (all by Lois Duncan), Wrinkle in Time (Madeline L'Engle), A Break With Charity (An Rinaldi), and the Baby Sitters Club series by An M. Martin (Yes I am a little old for them, and I don't read the new ones, but on rainy days and stuff I like to pull out the huge box full of them I have)

OMG, I HATED Where the Red Fern Grows! It's so sad! I was crying in front of my English class when I was reading it. Then I went to social studies and started bawling telling my best friend about the sad part (the dogs)! My English teacher even let me do another book for my project because we were doing presentations and I was afraid I would cry again. I hate it! Sarah Plain and Tall and Skylark were too boring for my taste....

The last couple of books I've read have either been Biographies or Autobiographies.

The first was a Biography of Hank Williams, by Colin Escott. Decent book... explodes a lot of the myths about Hank, and gives a good portrait of a man who wrote gret music, but seemingly wanted to die.

And, the latest book I read was Foley is Good, the latest book by Mick Foley.

In it, He covers the years 1999-2001 (the end of his career), and the last hundred pages or so are about ythe controversy pro wrestling has been embroiled in lately. Foley goes into the PTC, The murder cases in which children killed other children, and it was blamed on wrestling (even though that was just used as a trendy excuse), and some other great political stuff.

Pretty deep for a pro wrestler, eh http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/wink.gif

Great book. if you liked Foley's first book, this one is also a must have.

I rented 1984 by George Orwell from my school library, I'm reading it in pace, it takes time to unravel what's happened. It's good, when I finish I might try see one of the film versions (preferably the 1984 version)
