I was watching Saturday Night Live tonight, and in a Sanford And Son combine with Colin Powell spoof sketch called "Colin's Place" . At the end of the sketch it says "Directed By Stan Lathan."
I am just thinking Stan Lathan is a great director and is very underrated. He has directed many urban movies and tv shows. Among his credits include the pilot episode of Moesha, and the movie Beat Street.
Beat Street is one of my favorite Hip Hop movies of all time. Finally, someone showed their appreciation for Mr. Lathan's work.
