She went upstairs to change her shirt at Roseanne's request so they could go out and eat dinner. Jackie was changing into one of Darlene's shirts....so why was she CHANGING IN D.J's room????????

I think because she knew that DJ was gone and that Darlene could come home at any second. And she went up stairs to change in to one of Darlene's shirts I believe.

What cracked me up was when she had Fishers TV in hands, and Fisher said that it was his TV and she just drops in on the floor :lol:

Oh no kidding! I dont know how Roseanne restrained herself from deckin that bastard. (Can I say bastard on here?) Its one of my fav episodes too. Especially when Darlene goes to bail out Dan and says something like, "Well I guess I should catch you up on whats happened while you were in the big house... mommy says we have a new daddy now." :lol: I laugh every time.

This is one of my favorite episodes of the show as well. I love the part when Dan finds out that Fisher beat up Jackie, and he grabs his coat and takes off to go find him to beat him up. It just proved that although Jackie and Dan argued all the time, Dan still loved his sister-in-law and would do anything to protect her!!! :)

while your answer could be correct...I believe Darlene & Becky's Bathroom is connected to DJ's room as well....


Also I agree great episode....There is a part in part 2 where crystal, chuck, and anne-marie, all come over and Dan says "What Is This Mayberry?" That always cracks me up...

Irene I noticed this too. I had wondered why Darlene walks in on Jackie in D.J.'s bathroom when she had said she was trying on one of Darlene's shirts. I learned later though that all 3 kids share that one bathroom upstairs! There's a door on the other side of the bathroom. Such as in the episode of Roseanne's birthday where Dan finds Roseanne writing in D.J.'s room. Dan enters D.J.'s room from the opposite side of where the room is usually entered. He must have cut through Becky and Darlene's room into the bathroom looking for Roseanne.

This is what I have to say one of my favorite episodes of the fifth season and the series not just because it is so emotional but because it really showed in the end how much Dan really loves Jackie.

I know what you mean. Everytime she says the line "He's told me a million times whenever he gets in a mood like that to just walk away and I didn't, I just kept pushing him and pushing." It always breaks my heart hearing this and causes me to tear-up. :(

I loved the part when Roseanny tells Dan while she comforts Jackie that Fisher beat the crap out of her. Then Dan grabs his coat and hat and says "Uh, I have to go do something. I'll be back". You can hear the studio audience cheering and clapping in the background. I loved that.
