everyone who watches this, who's your favorite team? Mine's B.J. & Tyler (a.k.a. "the hippies")

I like the hippies too. I didn't at first, but they've grown on me. They seem to be the only team that's totally enjoying the scenery and the adventure rather than spending every moment stressing over the competition. Also, I'd been rooting for Fran and Barry. They did surprisingly well, and I'm glad they came in first at least once and won that trip to Rome. They seem like nice people.

The Hippies are my faves, too!!! :) I have to say, the Frat Boys and their endless talk about "getting into girl's pants" and MoJo's constant bickering and bad-mouthing of the Hippies has turned me off... I was sad to see Fran and Barry eliminated from the race, as they have worked so hard!

Last night's show was the best!!! I was very thrilled the Hippies were able to complete the Fast Forward (by eating a humongous bowl of fried grasshoppers...) and cross the finish line first, followed by the Horny Boys and Ray & Yolanda! I was especially delighted MoJo were eliminated last night, after watching their sad and pathetic behavior over the past several legs of the race! At this point, I'm still rooting for the Hippies, but I'll be happy if Ray and Yolanda win, but it will be tough to beat the Horny Frat Boys, especially since they like to play down and dirty...

Over the past few weeks, I've come to dislike them even more than Rob and Amber from season 7. I've never liked the Frat Boys and I wouldn't mind seeing Ray and Yolanda win, but I'm really rooting for the Hippies. Any guy that's willing to compete in a borrowed pair of women's pants is OK by me, and both of them showed some mental toughness with the Fast Forward. Go Hippies!

yea, I like the hippies, and I'm glad they came in first (I thought they'd come in last for sure, after having to eat those grasshoppers).
And, I'm glad that MoJo was eliminated. I didn't like them.
I wonder who'll win the $1000 next week? I hope it's the hippies!

who do you think will come in first tommorow night and win the $1000? I hope it's the hippies, although I wouldn't mind if it's Ray & Yolanda.

***Spoilers*** (for those who might have taped the show last night...)

Hip! Hip! Hooray!!! The Hippies won The Amazing Race! It was definitely one of the best finales to the show yet, and I was biting my nails for the entire two hours! The leg in Japan was incredible... what a cool country! And of course Tyler speaks fluent Japanese, what a great stroke of luck! The Horny Frat Boys did give the Hips a run for the money, however. I loved it when the Hips psyched out the Boys by pretending they had arrived later to the hotel in Tokyo, when they had already been there an hour and had booked a flight to Alaska using the Internet connection at the hotel... and I couldn't believe they convinced the concierge to lie to the Frats and tell them they didn't have an Internet cafe in the hotel! I felt bad for Ray and Yolanda, who had such a bad time navigating through Japan, and battled with the impossible language barrier.

Things were all evened out on the flight to Alaska, as all three remaining teams were on the same plane. BJ and Tyler messed up by walking past the snow shoes several times, to my dismay! :o But everyone caught up again on the flight back to Denver, where the race had begun several weeks earlier! The Frat Boyz arrived at the Detour first, but when I saw that the task involved selecting the flags of each country they had been to and were to be placed in order the countries had been visited, I knew the Hippies would rule supreme!

I was jumping up and down as the Hippies crossed that finish line in First Place! Hooray!!! The Frats were humbled when they crossed the line in Second Place, for it was Brains Over Brawn to win the $1 Million!!! :clap Although Ray and Yolanda came in Thrid Place, they were very gracious, which they have been throughout the entire race. All-in-all, one of the best seasons yet of The Amazing Race, without a doubt, the best and most exciting reality show ever!!!

I agree that this was one of the best seasons yet, and it was particularly good after that horrible Family Edition. What a great finish!

I was afraid the Frat Boys were going to win, just because the last legs were so close and they'd finished first more often than any of the other teams. It was exciting when they were sorting out the flags at the end. I could tell they'd both missed the second one because they were looking for a Russian flag, but it was also clear that the Frat Boy had a couple of flags switched toward the end whereas Tyler was only off by one all the way down the line. Once he figured out #2, I knew he'd just have to move all the others over one space. The Frat Boys panicked and it cost them a million dollars. The dejected look on their faces when they finally reached the mat was priceless.

I'm so glad the Hippies won. Despite what the others said, they never played dirty (not like MoJo or the Frat Boys), and they seemed to genuinely enjoy the whole experience, the places they saw and the people they met. It's good to see nice guys finishing first.

As I turned the channel over at the end of The Amazing Race to catch who was voted off American Idol (I knew it was going to be Elliot anyway...), I was wondering if they showed any previews for the upcoming season as they have done in the past?

I'm not sure I'll still be watching "Cold Case" next season. I wish they could just leave things where they are.

I recently saw an ad for "60 Minutes" that said it's moving to 6:00 p.m. soon. I wonder if that means we're not going to have to wait for the finale of "Big Brother" before the new season of "Amazing Race" can start.

I've watched every season since Season 2 and have always loved it(except for the Family Edition which I DESPISED!). It hasn't been quite as fun since, but it's on the way to redeeming itself.

I liked the premiere pretty well... better than the last couple. I just hope the football overruns don't screw things up too much.

I'm not crazy about Rob and Kimberly, but so far none of the teams have done anything particularly underhanded or have had anything vicious to say about the others, although some of them do seem to have a distinct resentment toward Sarah which I find odd. There isn't even a clear individual villain this year like Colin from season 5 or Jonathan from season 6 or Rob from season 7, but I think Peter could end up filling that role. I don't think he and Sarah will be a couple after the race is over.

Rosie (and the show) gave Dave and Mary all kinds of wonderful goodies, including a new car and a brand new house! Their incredible kindness has really touched so many fans of the show...
