Def. a good performance. It became a little uneventful in the middle, but that's due in part to the song. I commend him for doing something out of his comfort zone, because that's exactly what I've been waiting for him to do.

It started off nice, and it was okay throughout, but I did hear her go sharp esp. towards the end. I don't think it was as bad as she [Kellie] thought. I thought it was so sweet that she admitted that she didn't think she did well. "I butchered it."

Overall, 7.5/10. It was okay.

DEFINITELY my favorite episode of idol this season.

I think everyone did really well with the exception of one person. I'll separate them into three catagories.

WOW:

Chris - HE DIDN'T SING ROCK AND SOUNDED GREAT. AHHH. I was a little worried for him at first, because I didn't know if he could pull it off or not... since all we've heard from him was rock. But this song reeeeeeally showed off his vocals and it was a refreshing change from the rock that we always hear from him. I LOVED IT.

Elliott - HIS BEST PERFORMANCE EVER. OMG. I think this performance turned me into an Elliott fan. It was a perfect song for him and he sounded great tonight! I really think his time on this show is limited though :(. He better not go tomorrow.

Katharine - Amazing vocals, and with all those songs she wanted to choose from, I feel like she could have sang any of them and done a great job. But I'm glad she picked that song because it was perfect for her. I say she and Chris are gonna be in the finale this year.

GOOD:

Paris - I didn't really like her song, but she sang it well! Not one of my favorite performances of hers, but good.

Ace - One of his best. But he could be leaving tomorrow :( not good, since he is slowly improving!

Taylor - Also not one of my favorite performances of his, but good

Kellie - She was actually singing the song really well at first, but towards the middle she hit a lot of bad notes and then of course at the end when she messed up the timing of it....definitely her worst performance ever.

So...thoughts from me...in performance order:

1. Chris - OMFG!!! I was swooning in delight. For anyone who says that he can only sing rock...YOU GOT OWNED. It was awesome!! It was an almost flawless vocal and I felt like he really connected with the audience on this one. I'm just a little worried about tomorrow...since it is a pretty well known song. People might think "Oh...maybe it's the only one he knows." :( But I could give two craps about what everyone else thinks. I've been a fan since day one. I enjoyed it...a lot. 9/10.

2. Paris - Maybe it's the song, but for some reason, I didn't quite feel her stage presence on this one. Thought it was a little overrated by the judges. However, the vocal was AMAZING! Yay. 7.5/10.

3. Taylor - Started off boring, but he really brought it home at the end!! That was frickin amazing!! One of his best performances, as well as one of the best of the night!! 9/10.

4. Elliott - It was awesome!! He chose a great song and it fit his voice well. Not to mention he sang it well. Yeah boy. 8.5/10.

5. Kellie - It started off okay, then it went downhill from there. Ugh. It was the worst of the night, and her personal worst. But we all know she's still gonna be safe for tomorrow, cuz America's shallow like that. :rolleyes: 6.5/10.

6. Ace - If anything stood out about his performance, it was his lack of hair. :lol: I always knew he reminded me of someone...now that I think of it, he kinda looks and sounds like Howie from the Backstreet Boys. :rofl: Anyway...it wasn't up there with everyone else tonight, but it was good! Better than last week's disaster known as We Will Rock You and most of his other performances. Yay. 7/10.

7. Katharine - THE BEST TONIGHT BY A MILE!! I knew she would do a great job since she was in her element. Plus, I liked that she didn't have to be all diva-ish with her voice on this one. My favorite Kat performance to date! 10/10.

Wow, everyone did great tonight with the exception of Kellie. It's hard to pick who the best was tonight, they all did so well. I think Ace will be leaving tomorrow, though.

Simon was actually nice to everyone tonight! The only thing that ticked me off is that he just HAD to say something negative to Elliott even though he liked his vocals! Ugh, Simon really gets on my nerves sometimes.

I voted for the whole two hours and got a lot of busy signals. Elliott was amazing!!! Totally in love with him. I really hope hes safe - he deserves to make it all the way! Kellie was aweful last night and while usually that would put someone in the bottom three, her lil cutesy act got her tons of votes Im sure.
