I know that there has been a couple of threads for just a certain network but I figured why not have one with all you predictions... also I know it is way to early to know anything but we all know how much fun it is to guess...

so I'll post mine in a few minutes and mine will include the new shows by name that I think will be picked up...

Bernie Mack has already been cancelled and NBC had Sunday night Football this fall... good looking, although I doubt the networks will get that aggressive on Saturdays.

bschmale1113
03-26-2006, 09:11 AM
ABC 2005-06 Most Likley
8:00 Wife Swaf
9:00 Grey's Anatomy
10:00 Commander-in-Chief/Mid Season New Drama

Grey' Anatomy will helped be strong and first Full non Football Monday in 37 years giving CIC a boost AT 10:00 and also CIC will be rerun free and also beacuse of Idol on Tuesdays Two Midseasons sitcoms will most likely on Mondays at 8:00 & 8:30 could also helped Wife Swap Rerun Free

Monday Mid-Season
8:00 Biggest New Hit Sitcom
8:30 New Midseason Sitcom
9:00 Grey's Anatomy
10:00 Mid-Season Drama/Commander in Chief

Tuesday
8:00 According to Jim
8:30 New Sitcom/Hope & Faith-Mid Season
9:00 George Lopez
9:30 New Sitcom
10:00 Boston Legal

Note This will be the Only that ABC will air sitcoms beacuse they sitcoms is doing so pool that According to Jim & George Lopez was on NBC or CBS They will have been canceled beacuse they are the two highest rated sitcoms they are force to Comeback and also with Idol in Mid-Season if they new Sitcom Hit or not Hope & Faith will take over at 8:30 Beacuse of Idol
new sitcom midseason will never make it

Wednesday
8:00 Dancing with the Stars (Sep-Nov & Mar-May)/The Bachelor (Jan-Feb)
9:00 Lost
10:00 New Drama

Note: With ABC Sitcoms most likely going on Tuesdays DWTS will air two seasons next year when DWTS goes on Hiatus the In January The Bachelor will air then DWTS Returns in March also Best New Drama that is a F.B.I, CIA Cop or Mistery will be on at 10:00 beacuse Lost needs a boost and also to air almost silmar to Lost

Thursday
8:00 Dancing with the Stars Results Show/American Inventor
9:00 New Drama
10:00 Primetime Live

Note: The Reason Dancing with the Stars is on Wednesdays beacuse they had to air two times a week also I put a New Drama on Thursday beacuse is the only one you can put on anything liked Family Drama, Teen Drama, or even a Cop Drama beacuse Wednesdays has to EITHER be CIA, COP F.B.I Mistery and Sunday has to be a sex drama beacuse of the Housewives

Friday
8:00 Miracle Workers/New Reailty
9:00 Invasion/New Mid Season Drama
10:00 20/20

note: I not trying to make Friday Nights weak but you can't noting on Saturday Night but Invaison did well for to make next year but not well enough to stay in Post-Lost Time Slot but they risky move but it could do well on Fridays also the reason that Miracle Workers is on Friday is a realty show means that the show is cheap if it was a non-realty show it will not make it at all and In Justice does little better then Miracle Workes that not a Realty show A Drama coast lot more then a Realty Show and also a Mid-Season drama most likley air on Preview either after Houewives or Grey's

Saturday
8:00 Movie

Note: Can Saturday nobody home is Hit Enorce Drama New Encore Drama Blockbuster Movies & College Football

Sunday
7:00 America's Funniest Home Videos
8:00 Extrame Make Over Home Editon
9:00 Desperate Housewives
10:00 New Drama

Note: with the Success Grey's out drawing Housewives Greys Most Likely going to Monday they is no risk which is very good for Sunday & Monday Nights and also a another sex Drama will most likely take over the Post Housewives with The Merge of Sunday Football on NBC and Grey's is on the move to Mondays made not to as well next year but Houewives is still on the Biggest hits primetime is still a safe bet

Mid Season
Hope Faith & Either going to be What About Brian In Justice or the Evidence

note: I think it should be Hope & Faith it not well doing to make a fall Schedule but it well enough to make in to mid-season same thing one of the Three Dramas who ever to make it but I think for that two will not make it just ABC Drama are doning bad they will go on the Schedule if they good they air most likely next summer

CBS
Monday with the King of Queens
8:00 The King of Queens
8:30 How I Met Your Mother
9:00 Two and a Half Men
9:30 New Sitcom
10:00 CSI Miami

Monday without the King of Queens
8:00 How I Met your Mother
8:30 New Sitcom
9:00 Two and a Half Men
9:30 New Sitcom
10:00 CSI Miami

Note: There is a chance that the King of Queens may or may not coming it all come down to the cast that Why there is two Monday & Wednesday Night Lineups is 50/50 How I Met your Mother is a Big hit can do well on Wednesday Night but with King Queens ended this or Next year it's too much of risk to Move How I Met your Mother they need to stay at 8:30 unit the King of Queens ends it Run then Move Half Hour Early to be the Lead The Hour on TV Storngest Comedy Night liked CBS did with Two and Half Men when ELR was still on A New Sitcom will air after Two and Half Men leading up the CSI Miami

Tuesday
8:00 NCIS
9:00 The Unit
10:00 The Amazing Race/New Mid Season Drama

Note: CBS is the only network on that night won't be hurt by Idol with Unit become a hit it will stay at it time slot beacuse CBS has Big Night CBS unliked other networks a Hit had to move unto a Another Night but you can keeps on This Night

Wednesday with The King of Queens
8:00 Old Christine
8:30 New Big Name Sitcom
9:00 Criminal Mine
10:00 CSI NY

Wednesday Without the King of Queens
8:00 Out of Practice
8:30 Old Christine
9:00 Criminal Mine
10:00 CSI NY

Note: Again it all depends on TKOQ if the King of Queens does come back Old Christine made take a bigger risk beacuse Two and Half Man is the Number One if had to put new Sitcom After Two and a Half Men if you debut a New Sitcom follwing Old Christine two that Sitcom must have a Big Name either was once a Movie Star or a Major TV Star liked Heather Locklear or Friends Star or a Well know TV Star and it had to air the Pilot after Two and Half Men then air the second Espoide on yor regular time slot if the King of Queens does not come back then you take a big of a risk beacue you can get a second season with Out of Practice with THE TKOQ it will have been canceled with Out of Practice not enough to lead the Night you can have Old Christie right after it still a big risk not if the King of Queens come backs there Wednesday 9-10 are fine

Thursday
8:00 Survivor
9:00 CSI
10:00 Without a Trace

Note: The Stornger Lineup on TV not much to say

Friday
8:00 Ghost Whispter
9:00 New Drama
10:00 Num3ers

Note: Close to Home if they will on a another Network will have a second season they are doing but not well enough beacuse CBS Nights are so Storng there is not enough room For Close to Home even worst is that Saturday does even exist and CBS very rare you Return Show as Mid-Seasons Replacements is also a good thing that have New Drama with a huge friday

Saturday
8:00 CBS Crime Dramas Reruns
10:00 48 Hours

Note: very easy Put Your Vartiey of Dramas and News Show on that Night

Sunday
7:00 60 Mintues
8:00 Cold Case
9:00 CBS Sunday Night Movie/Hallmark Hall of Fame

Note: Football could end Movie of the Week in non-Cable primetime tv on liked fox CBS Primetime later beacuse of there sports still remians the same not much said

NBC
Monday
8:00 Deal or No Deal
9:00 New Drama
10:00 Medium

Note: I Think that Monday night is one of it strongers line ups put a New Drama leading up to Medium is good for a New Drama

Tuesday
8:00 The Appentice/Fear Factor
9:00 The Biggest Loser/New Reailty Series
10:00 Law & Order SVU

Note: I think that NBC is going more a Reailty Night and also a risky move for the Appentice and most likely when Idol Begins The Appentice will move to Sundays when Football end in January

Wednesday
8:00 New Drama
9:00 Law & Order
10:00 Law & Order CI

Note: Thanks to NBC getting football on primetime Law & Order Franacise will give NBC a strong Wednesday also will The First Law & Order alreay taking Risk against Idol & Lost but next season could get boost from Law & Order CI moveing to Wednesday to Close Night if won't make run at Idol but give CBS & ABC a run for it Money also could help a new Drama

Thursday
8:00 The Office
8:30 Scrubs OR Teachers
9:00 My Name is Earl
9:30 New Sitcom
10:00 ER

note: NBC is the postion with there sitcoms that never been in the past try to make Thursday since Friends ended NBC Sitcoms went way down & and the Night With Will & Grace gone Scrubs may be facing ax & Joey almost cancelled that NBC may be force to break up the My Name is Earl and the Office combo also who ever does better between Scrubs and Teachers will come back next season and the Office is not a strong enough show to lead an but have Scrubs after Leading up to Earl can helped the Office when the Office does well then Scrubs will most likley move to Sundays after Football then New Sitcom between Earl & ER can also helped

Friday
8:00 Deal or No Deal
9:00 Las Vegas
10:00 New Drama

Note: not a Strong Night but very strong Night for a Friday but It Helped with Las Vegas as your lead in you facing weak shows that boots well for NBC

Saturday
8:00 Dateline NBC
9:00 Most Outrageous Moments
10:00 Last Comic Standing/Law & Order Reruns

Note: NBC is going to air News Realty and Speicals on that night Last Comic will be perfect at 10:00 that Leading UP to SNL Even know they had to air the Local News in Between also none of the network it not trying it look good for NBC even know the whole Night does not exist also if LCS Does well this Summer

Sunday
7:00 Football Night in a America
8:00 NFL Sunday Night Football

Note: this is NBC Stongest Night by far beacuse Football on NBC could give ABC Housewives a run for it money plus in what make even stronger in November NBC will start picking games from that week so for sure you seeing the best game not even Monday Night Football Never done that

Sunday Mid-Season
7:00 Dateline NBC
8:00 Scrubs or Teachers
8:30 New Mid-Season Sitcom
9:00 The Appentice
10:00 Crossing Jordan

Note: with Football now on Sundays and ends in January NBC will try they mid-season lineup they will air an extra sitcom with Scrubs plus with return of Idol in January that force The Appentice move unto Sundays agianst The Housewives which a Big Risk for the Appentice and also Crossing Jordan will return Mid-Season with no-Repeats will helpe Crossing Jordan

CW
Monday
8:00 Everwood
9:00 New Drama

Note: Everwood could be a good lead in and a good night

9:00 Smallville Spin Off/One Tree Hill

I guess I was wrong... its season, not series, finale airs on April 14th. I would very highly doubt it coming back, however.

Mid Season
Hope Faith & Either going to be What About Brian In Justice or the Evidence

note: I think it should be Hope & Faith it not well doing to make a fall Schedule but it well enough to make in to mid-season same thing one of the Three Dramas who ever to make it but I think for that two will not make it just ABC Drama are doning bad they will go on the Schedule if they good they air most likely next summer

CBS
Monday with the King of Queens
8:00 The King of Queens
8:30 How I Met Your Mother
9:00 Two and a Half Men
9:30 New Sitcom
10:00 CSI Miami

Monday without the King of Queens
8:00 How I Met your Mother
8:30 New Sitcom
9:00 Two and a Half Men
9:30 New Sitcom
10:00 CSI Miami

Note: There is a chance that the King of Queens may or may not coming it all come down to the cast that Why there is two Monday Night Lineups is 50/50 How I Met your Mother is a Big hit can do well on Wednesday Night but with King Queens ended this or Next year it's too much of risk to Move How I Met your Mother they need to stay at 8:30 unit the King of Queens ends it Run then Move Half Hour Early to be the Lead The Hour on TV Storngest Comedy Night liked CBS did with Two and Half Men when ELR was still on A New Sitcom will air after Two and Half Men leading up the CSI Miami

Tuesday
8:00 NCIS
9:00 The Unit
10:00 New Drama Series

Note: CBS is the only network on that night won't be hurt by Idol with Unit become a hit it will stay at it time slot beacuse CBS has Big Night CBS unliked other networks a Hit had to move unto a Another Night but you can keeps on This Night

Wednesday with The King of Queens

10:00 Without a Trace

Note: The Stornger Lineup on TV not much to say

Friday
8:00 Ghost Whispter
9:00 New Drama
10:00 Num3ers

Note: Close to Home if they will on a another Network will have a second season they are doing but not well enough beacuse CBS Nights are so Storng there is not enough room For Close to Home even worst is that Saturday does even exist and CBS very rare you Return Show as Mid-Seasons Replacements is also a good thing that have New Drama with a huge friday

8:30 Scrubs

8:00 Scrubs

Don't throw out the possibility that FOX could have the Idol Results show on Thursday next season. They ALMOST did it this season. House is a proven hit without it so they could afford it.

House is now a smash hit and last week was tv's top rated drama, even with a new "CSI". Granted, that episode was a low not seen since the first season, but still.

Fox really has to do something on Thursdays because nothing is working. The OC needs to be moved off the night or cancelled altogether. It's dead. The buzz is gone and ratings are not big enough for viewers to regain interest. I can't really say that Fox botched it, it just seemed to be one of those shows that wasn't as popular as it was made out to be and had a limited shelf life.

It'll be interesting to see what Fox does in the fall. Even this year, despite not having the Super Bowl and the baseball playoffs being down, Fox will likely win the season in adults 18-49 by a slim margin over ABC. A lot of this has to do with Fox improving the fall by solid margins (taking out the baseball factor) and running "Idol" more this season. I keep waiting for the day for "Idol"s numbers to drop and fade because, let's face it, it is going to happen eventually. Even so, Fox has managed to get some solid hits thanks to Idol (Bones & House). Fox really needs to get more aggressive on Thursdays and try to build something there, and give Fridays up to reality series (Nanny 911/Trading Spouses has worked really well on the night, surprisingly) since nothing has worked there. It also needs to build Sundays back up.

It's annoying. It's up this season over last. I hope I live to see it fade.

I completely agree about the O.C. and about Fridays.

I think we'll all be dead by the time AI fades. I think one reason it stays so strong is because it only airs for half the year.

eh, i wouldn't mind that. but i wouldn't want to wait a day in between performances and results.

My idea is Performances on Wednesday, Results on Thursday. House does just fine without Idol, and FOX can try and get a compatitable show for 8pm Tuesday(maybe put Bones there).

Have Idol at 8 on Wednesdays and launch a new show after it(two comedies or a drama or reality, NEW SHOWS, not tired old shows no one will watch).

Idol Results could go just about anywhere on Thursday... likely at 8 or 9(my gut says 8, but I could see FOX putting it at 9), and then launching a new show after it.

That doesn't mean it'll have 30 million viewers in 6 years though. Of course... I didn't think it would be stronger than ever now, so

Oh and the results show tonight was CRAP. There was no reason for it to be an hour, and I only watched the last half-hour and it still had WAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY too much filler. It was useless and a waste of time.

NBC has renewed all 3 Law and Orders.. Criminal Intent will probably be saved until Mid-Season, and NBC has also renewed the trio of Medium, Las Vegas and Crossing Jordan. I think the Crossing Jordan renewal was good on NBC part since it was rumored to be canceled due to being slaughtered by Greys Anatomy, hopefully on a new night Crossing Jordan will do well.

FOX has picked up Til Death and Vanished. Ill defiently check out Til Death, Vanished is up in the air.

I never thought Crossing Jordan was in any big trouble. It's NBC's biggest hit on Sunday nights despite Grey's Anatomy and Jill Hennesey said months ago that she thought NBC would hold the series back until mid-season after football was over so she didn't think it was in any trouble. The fact is NBC doesn't have as many big hits as CBS or ABC so they have to keep all they can get.
