I usually hate horror movies. For every 100 horror movies, there are 1 good one. I'll see the Scary Movie 4. That's the only movie that actually interests me on the list that I'll definately see. I might see Silent Hill, but depends on the reviews.

Horror movies have sucked recently. I agree that there have been more bad ones than good, but I like watching old horror movies, they're more original and intense IMO. Not to say some of the new ones arent, you just have to find the right ones. Dont go by reviews lol... my opinion is often the opposite of what the critics say.

Ok If they scare ya I understand I used to be that way a lonnnng time ago, But, I don't know, I just like wacthingthem and getting scared.

If Hollywood would cut the crap and quit churning out remake after remake, that would help a great deal. Go back to the older ones (before 1990), find some inspiration, try to remember how to truly scare the pants off audiences, go back to atmosphere - something, because although we've seen some decent stuff, it is nothing like it could be. The parodies can be fun, but they need to start taking the genre much more seriously and quit turning it into a joke. Just my opinion.. Horror is also my favorite and while I'm not completely jaded nor do I ever hope to be, I just really miss what we used to see in theaters.

Currently in the works is a remake of Sisters, Brian De Palma's 1973 cult-classic starring Morgot Kidder and Jennifer Salt. I can't imagine why Sisters needs to be remade. It is great just the way it is.
