Another great film that was also his last: "The Hunter."

I am not in to much of his stuff, but I do enjoy The Towering Inferno

The Great Escape ('63) is my favourite Steve McQueen movie though Hollywood played fast and loose on the historical facts by adding Americans and not referring to the Canadians who took part. Others I liked, Bullitt ('64), Papillon ('73) and The Towering Inferno ('74).

Oh gosh, it is too hard to choose.

It's a toss-up between Bullitt and The Magnificent Seven. The former is a really good movie that features only Steve McQueen but the latter is my favorite western, even though I still have more to see of that genre.
