My kitten, who is so tiny at less than five pounds, hops like a bunny. It's the cutest thing to see. He doesn't have his coordination skills down yet, so he'll sometimes hop in the air before running. He's a white furry Persian, so he looks like a bunny.
He doesn't have his full voice yet, so he has this little squeak going on.
I'll see one cat chasing the other one. Then a minute later, it's just the opposite.
I see them lick each other's faces and bodies.
One kitten is a food hound and will wait for us to finish a bowl of cereal, knowing he's going to get the bowl of milk afterwards.
In the morning, a cat will wake me up sneakily by pressing a paw gently on my face. I'll open one eye and bag him doing it.

Ohhhh, I miss my cat Taz.
She was sooo perfect. She never made a sound. She didn't make a mess. I especially loved it when after my son was born, I would get up in the middle of the night to check my newborn and I would find her curled up right next to him.
Whenever i had the baby laying on my bed asleep, here she would come and lay right there next to him. Wherever my baby was, there she was. She never harmed him or anything. When he got a little older he would pull her tail, her ears and she would just close her eyes tight and let him do that. It was sooo funny how this cat let this little boy just do whatever to her. Sadly, she got ran over and I had to put her to sleep. I miss her so much.
My 3 year old pug snores. It's kinda cute, but it can be annoying at times.

My cat sits on my lap sometimes when I'm on the computer. I'll put something bright on the screen and scroll it up and down real fast, and her eyes follow it.
Years ago, we had a piano. In the middle of the night, my cat Foxy, was walking across the keys, back and forth. It was hilarious. I had to cover the keys at night after that. My husband used to joke and call him Bethoven.

In the morning our Cat always has to come up and say "Good Morning" to everyone in his own little way. If someone sleeps in he gets all mad and tries to find them and wake them up.

heh, my dog Molly...when ever you ask her if she "wants to go for a ride" she tips her head. Nothing is more cute than a dog tipping there head. I love it when they do that
She always makes noises if you don't pay attention to her
haha just seeing her licking her paws and looking so serious is cute too
and when she's sleeping and her head is a schlumped between her paws, aw it's so cute. and it's cute when she looks up at you and you can see the bottom of her eyes where the white is and she looks sad like...she sits by the bathroom door a lot and when I go to close it she does that and it's like "aww why are you leaving meee?"
the paw thing is cute too. when they want something they'll give you the paw.
and when she nudges you when you're sitting next to her but not petting her, she'll stick her nose under your arm heh
and she hugs too. dogs can't put their arms around you, so when you hug her she puts her head down on you instead heh.
Okay I'll go on and on now if I don't stop myself...

My dog's name is Coco. She's a girl, and when I love to have pets, I decided to pick dogs. Whenever I have her as a pet, she became very dumb at first. This is mainly because she didn't see us before. But a year later, she became trained well.
After the years later, she became a very well trained dog I ever had in my life. Coco doesn't bark at people anymore, and I'm so impressed.
Oh, my other dog I have last year is Muffin. Muffin is a little white poddle, and she is too cute. Her bark is annoying but cute. In Japan, dogs say "wan" instead of woof. I believe that I'm thinking to say that muffin says wan wan. She was dumb at first, just like my first dog. Although she pee on the floor like always. She's being dumb at the beginning, but a year later, she'll get much better than I expected.
That's all I can tell about my own pets. :)

My dog Gracie hugs too. She'll sit up on her hind legs and reach her arms out and she seriously can hug. Its grand. I love her.
But I seriously miss my kitten Sno-flake :(
He would lick my face when my alarm went off in the mornings. Whenever I would cry he would lick my tears away. I'm tearing up just thinking about him. I feel like a part of my life has been erased :(

Every time I take a shower my cat and dog push open the shower door and sit by the shower. I dont usually realize they're there and of course i walk out of the shower buck naked. gave my mom a little shocker the other day since my bathroom faces the downstairs front door and we have a balcony thing so u can see right up as soon as you come in. actually it's kind of annoying

My dog freaks out when my mom carries my brother into his bedroom. Dobby - my dog - barks all insane cos he thinks she's going to hurt him.
The cutest thing he ever did was when we were playing this game Forbidden Bridge. You have to push down this big idol head thing and we were doing it and he got so curious that he tried to push it down himself, with his paw.
My friend Genna has a new puppy named Thormax. When they got him, he used to bounce around, and Genna would do this thing where she'd shake her head all around and he'd imitate her. He also had this little yelpy bark that was adorable. Genna also has another dog, Helena, and if you put your hands under her legs and go, "Are you ready?" she goes GRRRRRRRR. It's so cute.

I have a big screen tv. When the news scroll is running on the bottom of the screen, my cats stand up on their back legs and try to catch the moving scroll.
If we're watching a movie with a lot of music, the two cats run around like crazy.

I had a cat that I trained to jump up on my shoulder (while I was standing upright!). She enjoyed riding around on my shoulder... One time, she freaked out my dad (who wasn't aware of her little trick) by jumping up on his shoulder--he wasn't too impressed!!
Also had a cat that would pee into the toilet--(& I never even trained him to do that!)

Hi,
My dog Nicholas, who is a 6 month old Black Lab.
Is so adorable, in the mornings when he is hungry, he will sit by one of the french doors, by our kitchen that lead to the back yard. **** his head, and look up at you with that begging look. And also he will jump up and sit on my lap for hours and not move when i am outside. He's adorable.

Oscar likes to knead me when he sits on my lap. Sometimes when I'm on my computer, he will jump into my lap.
Lucy loves playing with her toy mice. Whenever she was one in her mouth, she'll give out a mournful meow as if she's actually caught one. It's really funny.

I have a big screen tv. When the news scroll is running on the bottom of the screen, my cats stand up on their back legs and try to catch the moving scroll.
 that's funny. my cat does things like that when i have my laptop on the floor or something and there's something moving on the screen. she tries to catch the light of a laser pointer too, it confuses her that she can't get ahold of it and it disappears sometimes.
since the first night we had her she's always slept by me like a stuffed animal at night and licked my face until she fell asleep. she reaches her 'arm' out and hugs me too.
she's an adult cat and she loves playing with strings (of any kind really, even my hair and any dangling earrings i may be wearing) as much as she always has; she'll often bring one into my room, sit down by it and meow at the top of her lungs until someone comes in there and plays with her. i always think she's dying or something at first when i hear her.
she also often comes to me (or someone else if i'm not there), meows to get their attention, leads them outside and makes them pet her while she rolls around on the ground.
when i was little i used to play hide and seek with her; i don't know how she knew what she was supposed to be doing, but whenever i covered my face to start counting she would go into a different place in a nearby closet every time, seriously trying to hide.
she tries to outsmart me if she doesn't have her way, like if i want her to lay by me while i'm taking a nap, she knows i can't see her with my eyes closed and tries to get up and sneak away really slowly without making any noise.
umm that's mostly all..and things like standing up and rubbing her face on my leg when she wants me to feed her or something.

yeah, i know how devastated i'll be when i lose my cat. we got her just after i turned seven, a few weeks after she was born. she probably has several years to go but i always think about painful it will be to lose her. frankly i can't imagine what life will be like.

My cat goes crazy whenever anyone whistles, LOL. When she hears someone whistle, she goes up to them and lightly bites them.
She goes crazy when she sees a reflection of any kind on the wall. She tries to chase it and catch it.
She goes up to a stuffed animal rabbit I have and puts her paws against it and purrs. It's really weird because she never purrs.
When she was really tiny, she used to always climb into a crystal bowl we had on the coffee table. She liked to sleep in there

My cat Foxy, who is now deceased, was a hot ticket when he was a kitten. I came home from work one day, and found toilet paper all over the house. He had put it in his mouth (from the toilet paper holder) and had run all over the place.
Another time, I came home from work and the Christmas presents under the tree were ripped and the bows were off.
Every night now, I put two small amounts of whipped cream on a paper plate, and my two kittens just love it. It's so cute to watch. Now they follow me in the kitchen when they know it's whipped cream time.

When my one dog, Ginger, is in heat... she likes to hump my other dogs' heads. It's sooooo adorable. :D
Only not. I freak out at her and make her stop.
Anyways. When I play the piano my dog Clarice sings.. and when I am dancing around my kitchen singing everyday after school when I'm cooking dinner Ginger sits up on her hind legs and sticks her front paws out. It's so cute because she's a wiener dog, so she's really long and it's funny. :)
I'm trying to talk my parents into letting me get a cat, but they won't. :(

my cat rubzy does a bunch of stuff
he climbs on the top bunk and sleeps with me and tries waking me up at 4 every morning to feed him he gets me up by hitting me in the face with his paw and since my hair is in a pony tail he puts the top part in his mouth and pulls it...and he'll pinch my face just enough to wake me up its funny
he plays hot hands when your going to the bathroom he sticks his paw under the door and you have to hit it with your foot or he meows then he moves it and sticks it under again until you tap it
he plays hide n seek with me i crawl behind a chair or a wall and he hides on the other side of it and i keep peeking at him and then when your not looking he runs and jumps on your head

My cat Brody is sooo adorable (I'll admit, he's my little baby, even though he's technically my brother's cat). He does this little thing where he loves head-butting me--it's his way of showing affection, I guess. At night time when he's in my room, he'll start nudging his head in to my arm or any thing soft on my body...he loooves sleeping with his head face down in to something  And he has the cutest little high-pitched meow too. Sometimes when I'm on the computer, he'll watch me from my bed and if I don't give him any attention for a while, he'll stare at me and finally give out one little meow to remind me he's there  I love him!
His brother Tyson is a cutie too, but in a very different way. He's not like a normal cat, I swear :D He acts more like a dog with the way he stands up at my door, rubbing his paws against it non-stop until I let him in
My cat Tony had rather play with a paper wad than with his cat toys. He likes
you to pitch it up and he jumps up and intercepts it. Its funny to watch. He
also meows the word out when he goes to the door.

 I swear animals can talk. Our cat Foxy used to meow the word, 'No' when we were telling him to do something. God I miss that little boy. Had him for almost 17 years, and he died in November of 2005. I can still cry at the drop of a hat just thinking about him. I have 3 cats. Lucky is a slim black cat who looks just like Salem from Sabrina the Teenage Witch, except she's a girl. :) Whenever I go to the basement, I hear the gallop of cat feet and she's running down the stairs ahead of me. Whenever I get on the computer, she'll hop up on the chair next to me and rub around. She's also the one who sleeps on my bed or chair. Lucky is my shadow. :)
There's Molly, who is brown tiger striped and a pest. She's so skittish for some reason. Even around us, her family of 4+ years, she'll run the other way when someone approaches. She makes noises all the time, meowing just to be heard. :) She loves to have her tummy rubbed, and she purrs all the time. :)
Jasmine is our oldest, also a brown tiger striped kitty. When we first got Molly, Jasmine and Maya (our black cat at the time who has since passed on) were so upset that they hissed at each other. Jazz is my mom's shadow, always on her lap or cuddled next to her on the couch. Sometimes she'll jump up against the wall(?). It's pretty funny.
Whenever my dad makes his lunch (which always includes ham or turkey) the cats are right there, meowing away, wanting some. That's also funny because he always gives in.
Maya for some reason loved to drink the water drops coming out of the washing machine when she was alive. We never could figure out why, but everytime one of us went downstairs with a laundry basket in out hands, she'd run down the stairs and position herself at the washing machine.

I had a girl cat named Bubha who was my baby, everytime I would sit down,
she'd be in my lap. I also lost her when she was 17 and I cried for days &
said I wouldn't get another cat. But after a couple of years I got Tony, who
has a totally different personality than Bubha. They are really like a family
member and it hurts so much when you lose them. Not everyone understands

Here is a thing my friend Becky's cat Chester does that I think is funny but she doesn't.
Chester is a bit eccentric - probably because he is one of those breeds of cats that has some bobcat mixed in his DNA. She adopted him from a place that specializes in this type of cat. Seriously, the cat looks like a wild animal.
Anyhoo, Becky's apartment has a mouse problem from time to time, and occasionally Chester will catch one. He won't kill it though, he just beats the crap out of the mouse until it's near death, then leaves his little treasure for Becky to find.
Yesterday morning about 8 AM Backy calls me in tears: Chester did it again, a wounded mouse is on her living room floor, kinda moving. Chester of course is nowhere to be found, he's really good at hiding when he knows he's done something to **** of his mistress.
Long story short, i had to go over and sweep the semi dead mouse into a trash bag. Luckily she only lives a block away.
Somebody has to teach that cat to clean up after himself.

Bo is adorable. I never really thought too much about birds until after I saw a recent documentary. It made me see them in an entirely different light. Their personalities are so distinct and fantastic. TJ gave it high marks, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Here's a link about it if you're interested.

Well, my pug is now 4 years old. Right now he is asleep next to my feet and he is snoring away as usual. Sometimes he will lay on his back with his paws up to his face. Everyone gets a kick outta him when he does that. Whenever we take him to the groomer's, the people there just fawn over him, they want to touch him and they say how cute he is. Also, when we take him without an appt. to the groomer's and they are busy, they will still take him because they love to take him a bath, they say he is so good and they adore him.

All of me pets do something special. :)
Tara our six year old Shih Tzu, she dances and sings. When she meets new people or gets excited, she moves her paws up and down, dancing! hehe And she also sings, but only for my grandmother. She will not do it for anyone else lol.
Bailey, our one year old Golden/labrador retriever gives high five, gives paw, and catches every single piece of food she's given in her mouth lol. She's so cute.
Siobhan, our cat is such a lady. She crosses her paws whenever she lies down. You never catch her sleeping or even sitting down with her eyes open without her paws crossed.
Rhett out cat can open doors.
And Caitin our cat is the most sociable cat I've ever seen. She likes to sit on your shoulder when you're reading the paper, sit on the laptop keys when you're on it, and lately she's been jumping into the bags of food when you're eating from them, like chips. It's too funny though.
That's my zoo! But they're all special to me. :)

My landlady has two Golden Labradors ( Keiko and Huggy Bear ) and when visitors or I come in the gate or go out the door they run up with things in their mouths --anything, if they can't find their ball or chewed-up football, they pick up leaves, plastic soda bottles, etc. One even playfully snatched some paper out of my purse, they grab things out of the trash to run around with.
They don't want me to take it from them and throw it for a game of fetch--they just come up with things in their mouths; Some instinct, I guess. They both jump on me, with their paws on my body, and rub their heads against me. :eyes2: :eyes:
I pet their heads and backs --and um--they get erections. I think that has always happened, with my cats, too. It just wasn't always visible.

My cats, Lily and Caesar, have a lot of toys. I was tired of having their toys all over the place, so I put a rectangular wicker basket with low sides, on the floor. I put all their toys in it. I'll watch them sometimes, standing over the basket, deciding what toy to take out....or I'll see them dig through some toys on top to get to their favorite toys underneath.
One of my nightly chores before I go to bed is to pick up all their toys and put them back into their 'toy box', as I call it. I swear these cats are going to melt my heart one of these days.

Yesterday my cat did something so funny that when it happened, I didn't laugh but, afterwards I was laughing so hard; my boyfriend missed it though cause he went out for a bit; too bad though because it was pretty funny.
She's afraid of plastic bags, and for some reason; one of them got caught on her and she was running like a pyscho all around, and there were some things in the bag that my boyfriend had brought over. At the moment; I was sort of freaking out like her, and finally I stopped her to remove it, and she took off running. I went to check her to make sure she was ok and everything.
Even now, as I'm typing this; I'm laughing. I think now she will be more scared of them.

In the morning our Cat always has to come up and say "Good Morning" to everyone in his own little way. If someone sleeps in he gets all mad and tries to find them and wake them up.
My cat paws at my bedroom door and meows to wake up so I'll give her her her morning food. If she's in my chair for awhile and I evict her, she'll take her time getting off and whines.

Another thing that Polly does sometimes is this: she runs up onto the living room sofa and to the end by the hallway, turns herself upside down, and playflully picks a "fight" with anyone who walks over to her.
She boxes by swatting both forepaws at you, and either of us who's standing there lightly swats back. Too bad it's not on video; if it was, I'd upload it to Youtube.

awww. how cuute!
i just love the way my dog (a maltese) curls up in his bed when he goes to sleep. and when everyone else is asleep in the house and he's not tired, i'll still be awake. so he'll come to my room, sit on the floor, look up at me, and make this noise to get my attention and put him on my bed. and every time he sees a big dog or a cat, he tries to be very protective of everyone or mark his territory, especially when i take him on a walk. he barks and goes wild, but the other dogs don't do anything. it's hilarious because he's a 10 pound dog and the other dogs are huuuuuge. lol.

-One of my cats likes to talk to the birds. Every time they chirp, she does this funny meow back.
-I love how whenever I walk in the door, my cats both fall on the floor on their backs with their paws spread wide apart and start puring.
- My cats like to groom each other, and my boy cat is especially sensitive, I guess. So whenever the other cat makes her way toward his genitals, he falls on the floor, spreads all four paws wide apart, and purs with his eyes rolled in the back of his head. It's kinda nasty, but it cracks me up.

Well lets see...
I have two pets.. A cat and a pup respectively... My cat is a mini, and my puppy grows too fast lol. But wierd huh...
My cat loves...Oprah. Yeah its wierd.. If we turn it on anywhere in the house the cat gets a seat and watches it....She likes to pick fights with the dog..purposely slapping him and jumping on his back and laying down.. The dog cant stand it and just gives up laying down himself. Its pretty funny. The dog will roll over and the cat will jump off and jump back on..
The pup, well he does alot of things. First off he is a smart lil pooch.. He knows he cant be on furniture in the house.. SO he does it in a sneaky way.. He likes to walk up to us when we are on the couch or somethin and get him to pet us...slowly he will sly himself up on the coach and lay down..lazy dog. He also is trained at climbing... Which is ..a first ive seen for a dog..He climbs our fence just to look outside and then climbs down. Noisy dog.
Edit.. No idea why the cats pic is big and the dogs is small. :P I might need to find some more pix i guess

I have two cats. Lily is female, and is five months older than Caesar. She's bigger than him, and is extremely motherly towards him. When I feed them, I shake the bag and say, "Who wants to eat?" Lily comes running, and she starts to eat. Caesar strolls in the kitchen, and the minute he puts his face near their food dish, Lily backs away. She sits in a corner of the kitchen, watching him eat. When he's done, she goes back and finishes eating. She's such a considerate cat.

My dog Buddy does some crazy things.
First, whenever my husband sits at the computer, Buddy is in his lap. Now mind you, Buddy is a 75 pound dog. My husband has to literally push him off of the chair and even then he tries to jump back up.
Another cute thing he does is beg for treats. Whenever we take him outside and he does his "business" he comes back in, gets up on his hind legs and puts his front paws up in the beg position. He learned it in one day. LOL!!
He also sleeps with my son and sometimes with my husband and me. Well if he gets into bed before my husband, he lays down on his side and won't move for anything. LOL! It's funny watching my husband try to move him.

My cat Caesar loves AC and fans. He's a Persian, in need of a haircut, so it's like he's wearing a fur coat. If it's not hot enough for the AC, I'll put the tall floor fan on. He makes sure he positions himself on something where the fan will cool him. We have an AC in the bedroom too. If it's real hot, I'll put that one on too, and I'll find him lying on the bed, face first into the AC.

My cat, Gracie... wow, where do I even start. She has this toy "mouse" she always brings to one of us as a gift (mom, dad, or myself). You can't really call it a mouse anymore because it's eyes came off, it's tail came off and it's just this white furry thing. Anyways, when she wants attention she'll bring it to us in her mouth and cry (meow) 5 times. Usually it's always 5 times, maybe more maybe less. We always say "Thank you for the gift" and then we pet her. She never wants to actually play with that mouse though. It's solely used as bringing to us as a gift. She also loves to play fetch with her toy lizards or alligators and most recently I got a little rubber goldfish for 50 cents that she just LOVES!!
Oh, and the person who posted the Arlo and Janis cartoon. I know that cartoonist DEFINITELY has a cat or two. He has to!! The stuff he makes Ludwig do is uncanny compared to my cat. I specifically read Arlo and Janis just to see the cat!

Talk about pets and paper. A few years ago, I came home from work, and our cat had toilet papered the entire house. He went in the bathroom, took a piece from the roll and ran around everywhere.
Another time, he did a number on all the Christmas presents under the tree. Had them half ripped open, bows and ribbon all over the place. He was about 10 when he did that, and it was the first time. I always felt safe to leave him alone with the wrapped gifts. Not after that though, lol.

That's horrible lol. I would of hit my boiling point after that. TP is one thing but presents on a day that comes once a year and making a number on them is disgusting.
No, it wasn't disgusting. Nothing Foxy did was disgusting. I laughed. He was an only cat, home alone all day. He was very well behaved. Just sort of flipped one day. The toilet paper thing happened when he was a kitten.

Well I think pooping on presents is disgusting lol, especially if he hadn't ripped them open, seriously, how would you open them? He sounds like a good dog, I'm just saying, pooping on something you're going to open up is nasty. Well at least he was well behaved besides that.
Foxy was a cat, and who said anything about pooping. He tore a few presents open. It was cute.

Our kitten Romeo is funny. He was laying on the floor and put his little back paws up on the bottom shelf of the computer desk. Kind of like when someone props their feet up on something. He knows how to get nice and comfy. He checked out the bathtub the other day. Yesterday he got a bath. He wasn't exactly thrilled to have that experience. He checked out the bathtub a few times so we thought he might like a bath. :)
The other day we found him sleeping on the couch and he had his little head on the pillow. He's definitely made himself right at home.
Looks like Romeo is stealing hearts in your home. I may have posted this on here, but last summer, our cat Lily went upstairs and got the remote for the AC (it's thin, like a credit card). I looked at her coming down the stairs with the remote in her mouth, like it was the thing to do. Another time, she chewed up a couple of coupons that I had on my computer desk. Just glad they weren't 20 dollar bills.
Going way back, our cat Foxy's first Christmas....we had a Christmas party with about six couples. All of a sudden, the Christmas tree starts shaking. Foxy had climbed up the entire tree, inside. It was a huge tree. So huge, that my husband had it tied to the ceiling. He made it to the top of the tree.
That same Christmas, Lou and I were decorating the tree, I saw Foxy on the ledge of the window, looking in. We had cracked the window a bit because it was warm, and he was so small. I almost had a heart attack, and Foxy looked terrified himself. He was outside, and we lived on the 12th floor! The poor little guy was afraid to move because he had to back up. Fortunately, Lou very gently picked him up and brought him inside.

This one is called, "Cat Sitter", and has colorful birds, fish, chipmunks, gerbils, etc. We have a big screen tv, so my cat Lily jumps and claws the tv to get at the animals, with no success, of course. Thunder, my Maine Coon does that. He's twice as big as my dogs, and when you call him from the kitchen, you can hear a big thump as he jumps down from his bed in the upstairs office and comes running down the stairs. He sounds like a 5 yr old kid when he runs. He'll also sneak up on the kitchen counter if the window is wide open. He loves to sit in front and sniff the air. I can tell he gets up there because he's so big, there's always a thump. I'll be in another room and just have to yell, "Don't make me come in there!!" and you can hear another thump as he jumps down. He knows darn well he's not supposed to be on the counters. Cats are characters just as much as dogs are in their own hilarious ways aren't they?

That's how I fell in love with, and adopted a kitten, "Finnegan". I was holding him, talking to the guy about the price and looked over to see him going nuts playing with my hair. He just melted my heart with it.
The best cat toys are the cheapest ones - hair, shoelaces, bits of tinfoil, a scrunched up paper tied to a long string. I've stopped buying toys since they end up playing with water bottle lids instead anyway. ;)

Sometimes, I'll ask my two cats if they want to go for a walk with me. I then walk down the hall in our home, and they actually walk with me. Caesar, my silly baby gets it mixed up sometimes and cuts off Lily. Other times, I'll have one on each side of me. It's adorable how they keep looking up at me to make sure they're doing it right, and wait for my words of encouragement. When I get to the end of the hall, I turn around and walk back. Caesar sometimes gets confused and keeps walking into the bedroom, lol. It's so adorable. One of my cats, Princess, weebles and wobbles but unlike the toy, She falls down. :( It can be cute to watch sometimes but not funny. She has Cerebellar Ataxia The area of the brain that controls balance is affected. The kitten is seen stepping high, like a parade horse. When the kitten jumps, he overcompensates. He jumps higher than he should. When he goes to jump off an object, he will simply lie down and roll off the couch, or table. His brain cannot compute the proper message to send to his body about how to move normally.
I noticed this a couple of weeks after she was spayed and had her first rabies shot. She was 6 months old at the time and weighed exactly 2 pounds which was the minimum weight limit for spaying. I was reluctant to have it done because of her size but I was assured that it would be ok and now this happens. The clinic where she got the shot is trying to tell me that the vaccine had nothing to do with her problem but I'm not entirely convinced
The vet suggested that I put her to sleep. I asked if she was in any pain and was told no that this only affects movement and that she could live a good life if I wanted to make special arrangements for which I have. She will be more prone to other illnesses that affect cats. She can run but she moves from side-to-side and she shakes a little now and then but she's gaining weight and has a healthy appetite which is good.
My intent is to just do the best I can and take her for check-ups which the vet suggested every 3 months and I just pray that her next one will be ok.

^ Jenny, this is a coincidence. I always say that my cats, especially Lily, act like dogs. When I call them, they trot over like dogs. They hop up on the sofa and are very vocal. Lily has always wagged her tail like a dog. Now she's really wagging it, back and forth, especially when she's happy. I just love these furbabies.
:cat: :cat:
That is cute. I have seen Romeo and Cuddles wag their tails. They're silly.
Romeo's new thing is getting on top of the refridgerator. He is such a goof ball. :)

My cat (God rest his soul) used to crazy over olives - he'd jump up for them. Go figure :) And of course jump right in the middle of the newspaper as I was reading it - as if to say - how dare I'm not the center of attention - but he did it in a sweet way - and that is such a cat thing.

I'll get home from work, take my shoes off, and Duke, my cat, will come over to me, rub my feet, and bite them. Even after I feed him, he will still cuddle up to my computer when I'm online, determined for me to give him attention, which I always manage to do. Pets, what would we do without them?

I have two cats a male and female. Nibbles the female just turned 6 and she loves twisty ties she bats them around and flips over with them. The Male is Gambit and he loves straws he bats them around holds them even chasing them. Gambit also looks like he's doing Matrix moves and runs back and forth when he gets hyper.

It was hot today. I have one of those low to the floor round fans. My cat Lily is a Persian and needs a haircut bad. We get them almost shaved every three to four months. They're going this week. Anyway, the poor thing was so hot. She laid on her back, in front of the fan, arms open and botton legs, well, spread eagled. LOL. It was just adorable. Of course, she fell fast asleep too.

Every night at 7, we have a ritual where I say, "Who waaannts...??", and my husband finishes it with, "TREATS?!" They both come running for their goodies.
Lily has an internal clock, so she's often on her kitty condo promptly at 7, waiting. Lately, Cesar's losing interest. I think it's the heat. Lily likes Cesar to be there. Tonight, Cesar pulled a no-show. Lily got down and left the room, came back, left again and came back. I was calling for Cesar, but he wasn't coming.
I asked Lily to take me to Cesar. She started walking down the hall. I was walking next to her, and kept saying, "Lily, where's Cesar?" She led me down to the second bedroom, then into a walk-in closet. She stopped in front of a case of bottled water. Next to that, I could see Cesar's big eyes peeking out. I couldn't believe that Lily led me to Cesar. She's a smart, loving cat.

One thing my dog, Malley, has learned how to play tag. I'll chase her, tap her and then she chases me and usually jumps on me.
My cat, Eva, if I'm sitting outside and she is around me, and I'm not paying attention to her, she'll put her paw up on my leg or arm and as soon as I go to look at her, she takes her paw away like she doesn't want to get caught.

My dog Paisley runs to the back door, and slides on the dining room floor, going head first into the screen door. You'd think she would know better by now, but she still does it everytime. lol She also fakes going to the bathroom just so she will get a treat. We're onto here now though. She also spins around in circles over and over again when we're about to take her for a car ride. Ha ha ha, she's great. ;)

A really funny thing happened with my dog Salem about 7, or 8 years ago. I was in my room enjoying my Burger King Whopper and fries. I only took a few bites before going to the bathroom. I left the door open, and when I got back into my room, Salem had a guilty look on her face, before quickly running out of my room. When I looked on my bed where my plate was, I saw that I was left with three french fries on my plate, and nothing else. Ha ha ha ha. Instead of getting angry, I just started laughing hysterically. I went up stairs and she still had a guilty look in her eyes. I just went up to her, hugged her, and told her that she was a funny funny girl. And hey, atleast she was thoughtful enough to save me three fries. Ha ha ha ha. To this day whenever I go to Burger King, I am always reminded of this moment, and I smile. Man, I miss her so much! :(

Yep, Salem. We actually didn't give her that name. When we first got her, we ended up giving her away to one of my mom's co-workers, because we weren't allowed to have pets in our house. My mom's friend named her Salem, but she only kept her for a week, before bringing her back to us. We paid our landlord $500.00 for a pet deposit, and we kept her. We wanted to call her Halsey, since that's the street where my mom and Carl found her. Anyway, I have a picture book full of Salem pics, as well as her collar, and her ashes, all of which I keep in my room. I'm very sorry to hear about your friend Jen. :(

Earlier, my cat Cuddles jumped in between the regular tv and a special tv called a CCTV (enlarges print). Cuddles has never done that before. Romeo jumps back there from time to time. He knows I don't like when he does that. When Romeo saw Cuddles jump back there he decided to jump behind there also. I had to pick Romeo up. He then jumped out of my arms. I then picked Cuddles up and got her out from behind there. They are goof balls. :)

This is just something that I think is cute. My cat Lily has a good size tail, and she knows it. When I'm sitting down, she often hits me in the leg with her tail. She uses force too. I joke and say that she uses her tail like a sword, lol. She does this the most when we're having dinner; probably because she's being ignored. It doesn't hurt at all; I actually love it when she does it.

I myself own two female cats, which I named Shiloh and Sparkles. Shiloh is all black or Bombay with a white patch on her chest which is known as "tuxedo" and Sparkles is a gray tiger tabby which is known as a "mackerel" because she has a distinctive "M" marking on her forehead.
Shiloh is the most sweetest, loving cat I have ever owned. She is very social with everyone. She will climb on you and love you and cuddle with you, she will even give you little kisses with her tongue. She is very quiet and reserved most of the time.
Sparkles is less social, she has to get to know you first. Once she gets to know you she won't leave you alone. She is more vocal than Shiloh and more outgoing. She is very sweet though.
I have had them both since they were two months old and they were the cutest kittens ever.

My cat Shiloh loves to play with string and that's about it. She mainly just loves to cuddle and give kisses. My cat Sparkles loves to play with everything! I have little tinkle balls for her to play with and she just loves them! She will chase after them and push them around, she will even pick them up with her mouth and carrying them around. She will even play fetch with you. She goes nuts! She is very outgoing.
Sparkles will sit with my while I'm on the computer and watch me type and look at the screen. She just follows everything on the screen and will turn her little head as she watches the screen on my hands on the keyboard.
They both like to clean each other and cuddle together when they sleep. It's very sweet. They can both be ornery, though and get into things but for the most part, they are good cats.

My cat Chava used to make that noise on purpose so that we would let him go out onto the patiio, lol. As soon as we would put him on the patio the noise would stop so we knew he was faking. :cat:
