LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) -Dennis Miller, Joe Mantegna and Lauren Tom have joined the cast of Bonnie Hunt's untitled ABC comedy pilot.
Hunt stars as a newly divorced woman who works as a detective. Miller will play Dr. Langley, the woman's therapist, while Mantegna will play Jack, her ex-husband.
Both roles originally were intended as guest-starring, but Hunt is said to have persuaded the two to stay on as regulars if the project goes to series.
Tom will play the role of Beverly, with Don Lake, who wrote the script with Hunt, also co-starring.
Comedian Miller most recently hosted his own talk show on CNBC. Mantegna recently co-starred on CBS' "Joan of Arcadia" and in the movie "The Kid & I." Tom played Ross' girlfriend Julie in a handful of second-season "Friends" episodes.
Hunt was last on ABC in "Life with Bonnie," which ran for two seasons. She was recently in theaters with "Cheaper by the Dozen 2."

I'm so happy to see Bonnie and Jo Mantegna on TV again. I hope this show will last. Lets all hope.
