so far, do you like AI5? i think so far, AI5 is ok. not the BEST season, but not the worst. i think last season was better, mainly because i thought the top 12 was PERFECT. in the semis, everyone went when they deserved to. this year, SO many people got robbed in the semis. there's a LOT of outstanding talent this year though...and there;s 3 or 4 realllllllllllllly good people, but there's also 3 or 4 people that dont deserve to be where they are. i mean last year, only 1 person (*cough*scott*cough*) didnt deserve top 12, but i dont know, i think scott deserved top 12...just not top 10 :grr:. but the outstanding talent this year is really good...i think last year had more, but there's still lots of talent this year. so i think AI5 is ok so far, it's my second or third favorite season.

The only thing I don't like about AI5 is that it isn't as "perfect" as last year's. Last year, the exact 12 (with the exception of Scott) who I liked in the semi-finals, made the top 12.

However, what I DO like about this year is that I can see more than 1 person winning it. I think 5 or 6 actually have a chance at winning, and that makes it more competitive unlike last year where we KNEW it was going to be either Carrie or Bo. Plus, I like more people this year, so yeah.

I love it. I lost a couple people along the way [David, Will], but my favorites are there. Last year sucked for me. Mario quit and it was all downhill from there. I like more people this year, whereas last season I liked them for the most part, but I didnt have a FAVORITE.

I like this years guys better than the girls overall. And this years guys over last years guys. The girls are okay, but only 1 or 2 I really care if the move on or not. (at least so far, that could change as I see them more)

yeah i think this is the first year EVER that's happened. season 3, everyone knew from day 1 it was gonna be fantasia. season 1, everyone knew it was gonna be kelly when the top 10 started and season 2 everyone knew it was between clay and ruben. this year, i think there's a lot of candidates to win it.

I recorded almost every episode of AI this season and I watched most of the semis just earlier...people are really starting to grow on me. I STILL wish Will, Gedeon, and Ayla were in the top 12 more than Kevin, Bucky, and Melissa (And if they could fit Sway in there too, LOL!!), but I don't know...who knows what will happen. I do know for sure that this season is going to be exciting. :D

Well, my top 2 favorites have already been voted out this year. Like I said before, I should now stop liking Elliot because if I continue to root for him, he is going to leave too. Last year I liked my favorite from his very first audition and he stayed my favorite throughout the season. I started liking some others as well as the season progressed, but none of them compared to my favorite. I was lucky he got 4th place :) I only had to watch one week of the show without seeing him perform.

Like others have said, this season there's a lot of people that could win it. Last season we all pretty much knew it was going to be Carrie or Bo.

So, IMO, AI5 has a lot of talent, but I wish Will and David were still in it.

Actually, I think Elliott's kinda attractive but his ears stick out too much and those grillz (Meaning the teeth, haha)...o_0 Well, that's something beyond his control though. But I love him!! :biglove:

Ayla seems to me like the Amanda of this year - out of the cast offs, the one I most wanted to make top 12. IMO, she should've made it over Melissa (this year's Jessica). But seeing Ayla try really hard not to cry made me sad. And then of course Ryan has to be all "Oh, why don't you sing for us?" Just the fact of everything, and that specific song would've done me in. I really honestly think I heard her voice crack on the line "Reaching for something in the distance / So close you can almost taste it" I mean, it hits so close to what she's feeling....
