On April 18th, Rod Stewart is supposed to perform, so this MIGHT be the theme week.

ugh, is this season gonna be season 3, part 2 or something? or revenge of the people themes?

i dont know why their bringing them back, besides barry manilow, all of the people weeks in season 3 bombed. elton john week anyone? GLORIA ESTEFAN WEEK!!?!?!? aaah. i hope we get some normal themes, because i would rather have the crappy themes in AI4 then the crappy themes in AI3 this year.

i dont understand why we cant have the AI classic themes back- motown, movies, disco (though they had disco week last year). AAH

Well, there goes another free-week for the guys.

Since there will be a Stevie Wonder week too, they have to make a theme that fits the girls to make it fair.

I love people themes, I just wish theyd pick better people lol. Elvis, The Beatles, Madonna, etc. I loved Elton John week though.

yeah, if they wanna do people week, pick EXCITING people

i didnt really like elton john week cause i like elton john and most of the contestants didnt do his songs justice -_-

yeah...but i think if they did it this year, it could work, since most of the contestants this year have backround in musical thearter. they just need to pick shows that are post-1950 o_O

Well if they have another one of those this year, I will definitely be tuning out again. I like certain showtunes but not many at all.

i wont be, if they do songs from musicals like "rent" and "wicked", it could actually be an exciting night.

I'm looking forward to that ;) but I think they won't be able to do it cuz of licensing rights...I heard the people who have rights to musicals don't give it to anyone else till the show's off Broadway and shows like Wicked and Rent are still on Broadway, obviously.

So there goes my chance of seeing Chris sing One Song Glory. *sigh* :(

I heard a rumored theme is 1950s at some point. :woohoo: :dance: :cheer: That would be aweeeeeeeeeesome. So many great songs from the 1950s.

last year's themes were weird lol. some of them were good though.
