I was reading on http://www.cingularsource.com/entertainment/idol/ (http://209.237.248.115/page.cfm?Ref=AmericanIdolBoard&VID=37679) and they have instructions on how to chat with the contestants. As a lady, I would want to chat with Taylor or Ace. If they let me chat with Ryan Seacrest that would be pretty cool, too.

If I got to chat with Simon, I would probably ask him to sing. We know what Paula sounds like, what are the qualities of Simon and Randy's voices?

Simon and Randy are not singers; they are record producers.

Randy can jam on the guitar though. And I think Simon is actually and A&R man.

Artist and repertoire. Basically he's the guy who listens to demo tapes and scouts clubs for new talent. If you ever saw Love Monkey when it was on, that's what Tom Cavanaugh's character was.

In Simon's case it could stand for that as well.
