This is a classic. I saw it millions of times. This movie was way ahead of it's time in terms of humor. It moved from scene to scene of all the passsengers, giving everyone screen time. One of my favorite scenes was when Barbara Billingsly from "Leave It To Beaver" was talking jive to the to black dudes. LOL I am going to buy the DVD this weekend.

they are very funny movies and i agree with you that the moviie was ahead of its timev with the pop cluiture refrenences and your right barbara stole the movie as the jive talk lady

I seen it a few weeks back on cable and I was ROTFLMAO!!! No matter what, those jokes are so damn funny. Seeing Jimmie Walker, the girl that played Vikki on the Love Boat, oh and of course, Barbara talking that jive!!!! "Cut me some slack!!" She did it so well. I wonder how much time she spent rehearsing that scene???:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Sorry 80s fan, I didn't like Airplane 2. Irene, that scene with Vikki from the Love Boat was hilarious too. If you blinked, you missed Jimmie Walker. His part was real brief.

F***IN FUNNIEST MOVIE EVER MADE IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND, well oen of them I could recit that whole movie almost I love it LMFAO I wacthed it last weekeknd actually, Ive seen it a lto of times

I havent seen Airplane! in forever! and I dont think Ive ever seen the 2nd one. I need to look for those. I agree also that it was way ahead of its time. I wonder why people in the movie industry didnt latch onto that back then.
