Anyway, you LOVE Chris Daughtry. Damn straight. So show your love for him. Post pictures/media of him, talk about him, rave over his fantastic performances...anything to appreciate him!!

Chris is definitely the best male vocalist. He has such power to his voice. Plus, he would be such a nice change of pace than some of these cookie cut outs. No offense if you like any of them, but Daughtry is something new and different.

Any of you guys loved his performance on Tuesday night as much as I did?? He totally stood out from the pack! He OWNED that song! I guess I mentioned this to some people previously, but I was smiling and giggling the whole time. I wasn't laughing AT him...he was just so amazing up on that stage and that made me happy. :D

I think he'd do a good job singing a Nickelback song, but I remember when Constantine sang one last year and got booted off. :( Apparently, it wasn't "real" rock for him. So...I don't know.

But Chris hasn't disappointed me one bit so far. I have a lot of faith in him. :D

the judges didnt like it cause it was his "return to rock" and it seemed fake.

i think Chris could do Nickelback better then Constantine, it fits his voice better then it does Constantine's.

Hey...just so we can keep this thread going, I got a question for all y'all...

What songs would you like to hear Chris sing on AI?

Joe mentioned that he would sound good doing Lonely No More by Rob Thomas and that got me thinking...he probably could pull it off, but what if he did another song by Rob Thomas? The first one that came to my head was Smooth, his collaboration with Santana. I think would do a great job with it. It's rock, but it has a Latin edge to it. Chris would sound sooooo hot if he sang that song. :drool:

I also still think he should do One Song Glory from Rent if AI shall have a musicals week this season (But I doubt it, since it was pretty horrible last season. And also, Rent is still playing on Broadway and I heard that licensing rights aren't given up still a show's run on Broadway ends). Again, it's a rock song, but it's considered a ballad and it requires a lot of range on the vocalists' part. I could TOTALLY see and hear him singing it though.

Plus, American Idol + Rent = :heart:
