...won't you please sing the song that got you booted off just one more time for us?

I mean, you may have gotten berated by the judges, and you definitely got one of the two lowest vote totals for that song, but I'm sure you must be anxious to sing it again and disappear forever.

Go ahead now, get out there and sing that losing song and beat it!"

:)

Seriously though, how is it a good idea that the losers sing the song they lost with again as a farewell? Besides the fact it may have been a crappy performance or song, the person has to repeat singing it knowing it cost them and are that they are leaving after they do it!

Seems kinda wrong and an unhappy way to leave.

I agree, but not the song you lost with.

They should all have a reserve song that they may choose to sing if they are eliminated.

It just must suck singing that song you lost with- doesn't anyone see that?

i wouldnt like the reserve song. in the semis it should be the song they sung and in the top 12 it should be their best performace

I like the idea of their best performance for the top 12-I mean when you get down to it that is the spot where it must be the most humiliating to go back out and sing that song that got you knocked off.
