I will have to say it's a tie. I love the Biscuts and seafood at Red Lobster and I love the Chicken Fingers and Fries at TGI Fridays. Both restarunts have very good food and I enjoy going to both of them. Both on the same level

The best time to go to any one of these places is on a Monday night at 8pm-lol I would never ever go to any of them on a Friday or saturday night after 7pm. It will be like standing in line for concert tickets

Yeah, I know....my friends and I had to wait 45 minutes one Friday night for all those types of restaraunts-- TGIF, Applebees, Chilis, etc. It was ridiculous.
I still think Applebees is better than TGIF, though.
I'm not fond of either one but if I had to choose, I'd go with TGI Fridays.

I love Applebee's, I love their Nacho's they are HUGE and their Chicken fried Chicken
I hate Red Lobster, we have a great restaurant here called Pappadeaux they have the best seafood for about the same price (something's are a little bit more expensive) as Red Lobster. TGIF is ok, they have good ribs though.

Both are awesome...as long as you don't order lobster. Cause their other food is much better. Since someone mentioned Applebee's, I'd put that on the same level, too.

I haven't been to TGIFs in years, but I would say Red Lobster because I don't eat any kind of meat other than seafood. I'd actually like to stop eating that, but until I do, Red Lobster is quite good.
I don't like Applebees at all. We just got one in my town and I am totally bummed. I wanted a Red Robin! Or hey... Red Lobster would have been good.

Honestly, I've never eaten at either, and we have them both in town!! I want to try them both, though. ;)

I went to Red Lobster Saturday night and waited 40 minutes for a table. Which was a HUGE improvement to the Olive Garden next door...which had a 90 minute wait. No one in their right mind should wait 90 minutes to get a table.
Anyway, I think I've only been to TGIFriday's once, so Red Lobster by default...and some damn good biscuits.

Neither. I know because I'm a vegetarian, neither of these restaurants are the friendliest vegetarian wise, but my family and I have gone out to dinner to both TGIF and Red Lobster and it wasn't amazing. Red Lobster first off lied to (the lady on the phone said they had vegetarian pasta...which they didn't because the sauce was chicken based). It took way too long to get a table. And TGIF...the atmosphere was not like it is on the tv commercials. It wasn't a lively happy place. It was...more dark. And the food was eh...it was very flavorful. And for the price you're paying, you should get more food. But yeah. My friend worked at Red Lobster and the stories he'd tell me...oi.

That is a tough question.
Since I am not too fond of Red Lobster but I absolutely HATE TGI Friday's(and I am not referring to the food, I just hate the atmosphere), I will have to say Red Lobster. I do love fish, but I just don't like watching people(especially if they are at my table) eat those big bugs(Lobsters, crabs, shrimp...). yuck.
But I'd prefer that to the stupid "Up with People" atmosphere of TGI Friday's.
