of the George Jefferson character? or Something else? Like my mom didn;t really care for George because of how rude, and prejudice he was against Whites and Poor People. Just wondering is that some of the reason some members may like GOOD TIMES better than the JEFFERSONS

I loved both. George was hilarious. I was glad that there was a minority that was rich. And also, it was a slap in the face to the Archie bunker character who didn't like him.

Archie's Classic statement about George-"He is so racist"

I like Good Times slighty better because to me GT dealt more with prevalent issues. George was the best, but I wasn't that big a fan of the Willises.

They dealt with too many prevalent issues which was the problem with season 3

I'll agree that they went overboard sometimes with "statistics" and stuff like that, but I'll take Willona over Helen Willis any day.

WHAT?????????????? Helen Willis was down with it. She told George off when he was trying to joke about tom.
Helen: Look man, I am happy with what I got because he is everything you are not"
LOL

Wilona was with it more so than Helen. She told off that Doctor that didn't want to report Penny's bruises as child abuse. She also kept Booger in check:D

I will admit Louise wasn't as good as Florida but overall u still had a good show that wasn't about a lot of drama.

I like Good Times more because I haven't seen The Jeffersons in a long time so I'm just saying Good Times is better since I see it more often

I like The Jeffersons a lot more because of Florence. I love that character and her chemistry with George. She's truly hilarious.

I've never watched an episode of The Jeffersons without laughing out loud multiple times.
However, I've gotten through 2 or 3 episodes of Good Times in a row without laughing out loud once.
I still like GT, but it's nothing compared to The Jeffersons.
You are so right-lol

"The Jeffersons" is 100 times better than "Good Times". I wish it was airing now on TVLand at 7:00pm and 7:30pm and at 10:00pm and 10:30pm instead of "Good Times". "The Jeffersons" was a lot of fun to watch and made you laugh from beginning to end. George Jefferson was the BEST!!. The second best black TV character in television history in my book next to Fred Sanford who comes first in my book. I love it when George starts yelling and screaming. It makes me cry hard laughing LOL. I HATE "Good Times". Too serious, too depressing, and very annoying characters. James is too bitter, too negative, and always mad. His yelling and screaming is not funny and does not make me laugh. He has such a bad attitude problem that if the show ever crossed over with "The Jeffersons" and James went to work for George at one of his dry cleaners, James would of been fired after like 5 seconds working there. George would not tolerate having someone like James working for him. James was such a bad person and had a bad attitude that he deserved a good beating. He was a bad husband and a bad father. He had no life and no friends. The serious issues like child abuse, an old man dying in the Evans apartment, plus many more really was NOT necessary for a show that is supposed to be a sitcom. I mean Hello, this show is a sitcom, not a drama. I hope TVLand takes "Good Times" off their schedule permanently when "The Jeffersons" return to TVLand in September. "Good Times" does not deserve to be on TVLand. As a matter of fact right now as soon as possible ,TVLand should take "Good Times" off the schedule permanently and put "The Jeffersons" back on in its place.
LOL :) . Here's a funny idea. A TV character deathmatch featuring Fred Sanford and George Jefferson together vs. James Evans. Fred and George will win and kick James' ass LOL :) . Fred could give James his signature one across the lips a few times enough to knock all of James' teeth out and George could of finished the beating by just punching and kicking him all around the ring till he was seriously hurt and could not get up. LOL :) .

George wouldn't have fired James, because James was a hard worker. People act differently at work than they do at home. FYI, John Amos guest starred on Sanford and Son as one of Fred's friends.
