Well it has to do with Barbara. I thought she wore a wig in the earlier series. But did she after she got married? Because it looks like real hair.... Anyway! Thanks

I am positive that Barbara Feldon wore a wig throughout her entire run on Get Smart.Even in 99's married years. She said her hair is really very baby fine.

In one of the companion books for the series Barbara feldon admitted that she wore wigs because her hair was thin. Some of her hairstyles looked like they were her real hair, so whoever manufactured her wigs did a very good job. In the 4th season when she wore a ponytail it looks like its all her own hair. In the 5th season and in the other years it is more obvious that she has an attachment on her head.

Actually no one ever talks about it, but Don Adams wore a wig also. In one of the books about the show there is a scene from an episode in year 1 (My Nephew the Spy) and his toupee is rearranged on his head and you can see that he is bald).

It wouldn't be a big deal - lots of actors wear hairpieces for roles - but they used to make jokes about Ed Platt (the Chief) being bald. The real situation is that all three of them had thinning hair.

surprised to see him without hair. But I thought that he had just started losing
his hair (the clip was from a few years ago).
