RE: The music on DANCING WITH THE STARS

I can't stand the way they choose the music for the stars to dance to. I mean, if they are doing a waltz, then why don't they have waltz music played? Or, when it's the cha-cha, why on earth play disco music? It doesn't make sense, to me at least.

They had "Wake me up, before you go-go"...of course it's not the original song, they have a male and female singer to sing the songs (which by the way, sounds awful) but still, nobody should be doing any kind of cha-cha, tango, etc. to that song. I hate it!!!!:mad:

I get dissapointed listening to that music too. :p especially wake me up before you go go :rolleyes2 :barf:

I do want the real music...... I can't stand the cheapo music. :barf:

I agree; the music selection is questionable a lot of the times. I also think that plays a role in how the dance is perceived. Sometimes if the music doesn't gel with the dance, the entire thing looks disjointed.
