He's the same David Seltzer who wrote the screenplay for The Omen film (the book is the novelization of the film), so he is probably the same David Seltzer who wrote the screenplay for The Other Side of the Mountain.

It is a good book. I bought it at a local used bookstore for $6.99. I'm a huge Hitchcock fan and I've read every book I could find on him. I've probably read at least a dozen books on him. I wasn't sure how much I would like this one because the films that Hitch made with Selznick I don't consider to be among his best. Well, with the exception of Notorious (a GREAT movie), of course. Rebecca is pretty good, but I don't like either Spellbound or The Paradine Case. Infact, I think that
The Paradine Case is probably the worst film that Hitchcock ever made. I know that Gregory Peck regarded it as the worst film he was ever in.

The book has turned out to be really very good. I just finished the chapter on Notorious and really enjoyed it. I think reading this book I've come to realize the infuence that Selznick had on Hitchcock's career. The films that Hitchcock made in England, like The 39-Steps and The Lady Vanishes, before coming to America are great films, but they were generally low budget and didn't have a whole lot of character development. After working with Selznick, Hitch's films became much more lavish and had stronger character development.

The Star Trek Interview Book by Allan Asherman

This book was published in July 1988 and features all new (new in 1988 that is) interviews with the stars, producers, writers and directors of the original series. I bought this book when it first came out 19 years ago and I read it when I was visiting by grandparents in Arizona that August. I decided to go back and re-read all the interviews because I know much more about film and television production than I did at 12 years old. Like now, I know what the difference between a "cut" and "pan" is. Those are two terms that would have gone way over my head when I first read the book all those years ago.

Actually, today I read a book I got out of the library: A Full House of Growing Pains. It was written by Barbara Cameron, the mother of Kirk and Candace. It is basically the story of a basic, ordinary family who made it big in Hollywood. I finished it in only a few hours; it is very interesting and easy to read. Nice pictures, too!!

Really changed my opinion of Jenny (I thought she was just a loud mouthed bimbo before). She's a wonderful mother and her little "Bird" is so lucky to have her. I wish her nothing but the best for her future and a wonderful life. I hope she's found her soulmate in Jim and I think she has.
