Okay, so I don't remember too much about it, but I used to love this cute little sitcom that was syndicated on the Disney channel a few years back.. I'm guessing it is originally from the late 80's to early 90's. It was about a teenaged girl and her big family.. with a single mom.. they had southern accents. The girl would sit at her window at the end of every show and talk to the moon.. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS SHOW IS CALLED? Sorry to be so vague! Thanks so much! :D

The Torklesons...which then went to NBC for a season as Almost Home. They lost a few kids along the way.

The Torkelsons premiered on NBC in the fall of 91. It lasted one season.
Feb. of 93 NBC launched the revamped Almost Home. It lasted 13 episodes.

I guessed the show as soon as I read "cute little sitcom" and "Disney". That does describe it. Critics said it was too sacarrine sweet, but I like shows that are sweet and have Heart.
I just pulled out my '91 Fall preview TV Guide. it says:
"Premise: Comedy about a normal, sensitive girl who's mortified by her crazy-quilt family.
Weak point: Sweet and sappy-like maple syrup on marshmallows......Weak show."
But you can't go by other people's taste.

I watched this show in 91(btw, I was 23). It was a depressing year for me, and this show and theme song helped.
In '98, I taped a few off Disney. I have the Thanksgiving episode-It's so darn sweeet. And now, every Thanksgiving, I watch it. Makes me feel good.
