Lindsay Lohan in Hospital...AGAIN!!!

Lindsay Lohan has been hospitalized in Miami after suffering an asthma attack on Monday night, but she's fine now, according to her rep. Lohan was in Miami to celebrate New Year's Eve by hosting a party at the nightclub Prive. But a few days later, the city's humidity got to her and she had trouble breathing, the spokesperson said. She sought help from a doctor, who suggested she get herself to the emergency room. Lohan had been diagnosed with bronchial asthma as a child, her rep said, but she hasn't had an attack in years.

"It's the first attack since I've known her," spokesperson Leslie Sloane Zelnick said. "She's had attacks before, but not that many, and not recently. She's taking it easy now, she's resting comfortably. She's just tired and not feeling too good. It took a lot out of her."

Lohan is expected to be in the hospital for at least a few days but should be back in New York soon to start shooting her next film, "Chapter 27," her rep said.

"I was making myself sick. I was sick and I had people sit me down and say 'You're going to die if you don't take care of yourself,'" she said in the magazine's latest issue, which hit news-stands on Wednesday.
Lohan said she used drugs "a little" but quickly tried to retract the admission and denied that she had taken cocaine. "I don't want people to think that I've done ... you know what I mean? It's kind of a sore subject," she said.
Lohan's publicist called Vanity Fair the day after the interview to try to get the confession omitted from the article, the New York Post reported.
In an apparent U-turn from interviews last year, the actress admitted fighting the eating disorder bulimia, which made her lose weight at an alarming rate.
It was when she saw footage of herself on a "Saturday Night Live" television appearance looking skeletal that Lohan became aware of how ill she really was.
"I saw that 'SNL' after I did it. My arms were disgusting. I had no arms," she said.
Her physical condition led to a two-week hospitalisation with a swollen liver and kidney infection last year.
Lohan was admitted to hospital on Monday after experiencing breathing difficulties in her hotel room in Miami, spokeswoman Leslie Sloane told Reuters.
Sloane said the actress, who has suffered from asthma since childhood, was "resting comfortably" while she remained under observation and expects to be discharged on Wednesday

Okay now i'm not trying to make myself seem important or special, but, since i live you know, 5 minutes away from the girl and her family, you know more about her than he really would care to. My sister also is her brothers math teacher(he was in miami with them, sister said shes jealous of the tan). so, ya know. shes been in and out of the hospital all her life. and shes been off the drugs for a long time now. still a bitch but whatever she's clean so the coke thing is getting old, fast.

Exactly. Fans get so annoying with that crap. Those die hards will believe anything they're told, so long as it comes from the celebrity they worship. Now those same people who said she wasn't doing drugs are probably saying, "I knew she was doing drugs all along." There all just a bunch of hypocrits.

Anyway, I hope Lohan gets better. She does not want to go down that path. It'll ruin her!!

In comparison, Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston are two very famous cases of going from the top of the heap to rock bottom, but yet MJ had been famous about 25 years before the pedophilia accustations began to tarnish his image, and Whitney had been famous about 15 years before the drug use became apparent.... Lindsey began her downward spiral within MONTHS of Mean Girls.

I am surprised some of media is shocked... Lindsay Lohan admitted drugs and bulimia is about as "shocking" as if Ricky Martin came out of the closet and admitted he was gay (recent pictures came out that pretty much outted him) :lol:

I don't think that's true at all. There will always be bad people who don't give a damn, but generally speaking, I think people do care very much. I would give my life in a split second for a friend, or a family member, and that's not an act, it's a fact!!

well, Lindsey is the one who knowingly followed every bad vice temptation that came her way, she knew better, but she's the one who went slutty, stopped eating and started doing cocaine. She's the one who decided to allign herself with the likes of Paris Hilton.

Lindsey for the most part is a media-made celebrity, she had a few hit movies but the media decided to boost her because she was a "sexier" alternative to Hillary Duff. Even though she's been hyped to death, her album sales haven't been anything that special for someone as famous as she is. Even though her most recent video has been hyped to death, it still hasn't sold more than 250,000 copies, which is especially bad since it came out during the Christmas season.

I can't say I'm a fan of hers, but I hope she turns her life around, but she's shown herself to be a weak person considering how she has given in to every temptation that has come her way... if she doesn't get some self-esteem, she's going to be hanging out with Whitney in the crackhouses before she turns 20.

reading this made me laugh, because my sister came home from work and told me today how bad she felt for her brother because the kids at school were tormenting him saying how shes pregnant and ****. she sent him down to guidance because she thought he was about to breakdown. gotta suck.
