"CBS Television Network" End Title for "Love Letter"

For those of you have seen last year's episode "Love Letter" which was a "Lost" episode never being shown on TV for 50 years when it was on TV Land, I found this incredible end logo for the old "CBS Television Network". I've seen it last year when TV Land had run a credit crunch promoting the "Andy Griffith Show" which was coming up next during the last of the original end credits for the "Jackie Gleason Show" where the girls was standing on camera before the CBS logo appears. This end logo was from 1955. Thanks to TV-Ark for this great endcap of the old "CBS Television Network" logo. I want you to see it again. Here it is.

...was primarily the one used on their film and kinescope {live shows on film transfer} prints from 1951 through 1970 (at least-- the "shutter" in the eye revealed the 'CBS Television Network' i.d. before closing). Sometimes, they'd dub in an announcer saying, "This is the CBS Television Network". The "live" logo used at the end of the actual 1954 broadcast was the CBS eye against a background of clouds..which they used until the mid-'60s.
