UPN Seems to Have Faith in This Show

This week, UPN is rerunning Everybody Hates Chris on four straight nights at its regular 8 PM EST time slot. The network seems to have faith in the show by giving viewers a chance to sample earlier episodes after a strong start. That's the good news. The bad news is in January, Everybody Hates Chris goes up against Dancing With the Stars. Though UPN picked up the sitcom for a full season, I don't know if it will be back for a second since ratings have been on a decline, usually finishing fifth in it's time slot.

Why not have faith in it? It's been the most positively acclaimed series the network ever had. As for whether it'll get a second season, it'll be back. It's far from UPN's lowest rated series. If those other shows stand a fair chance of returning, there's no reason to think EHC won't be back. They'll just move it to another time slot.

I beleive it will be back for a 2nd season, I think it will last at least 6 season. Correct me if I am wrong but I also beleive this is UPN's highest rated sitcom. Also this show coming in 5th is not a bad thing, UPN is not a huge network so you can't expect it to come in 1st or even third. Coming in 5th is great for UPN, that means it beat the WB.

yea but Smallville has been in repeats lately so thats why UPN has been beating it. I think ELC will be back though. If those Monday comedies can survive, this one should.
