Life With Nancy:
Marilu Henner plays Nancy Winters, a wedding coordinator who's marriage is falling apart. Nancy's estranged husband, Jake Winters (Ted Danson) confesses to having a mistress for past five years. Jake's mistress, Mary (Mary Steenburgen) happens to be Nancy's best friend and co-worker. Mary and Nancy's friendship and business turns sour. Meanwhile, Nancy and Jake's youngest married daughter, Dana (Sara Rue) announces her pregnancy. Their oldest daughter, Heather (Melissa McCarthy) announces she is having an affair with a barely-legal student of hers, Jason (Jared Padalecki).

Jeff And Sam:
Ted McGinley plays Jeff Brandt, a hard-working single father of one teenage son. Jeff's 16 year old son, Sam (Jake Thomas) is an average teenage boy with the following items on his mind: Sports, Girls, Sex, Cars, Food, Money, and Confusion. Jeff's wife and Sam's mom died six years ago-now both Sam and Jeff think its time for Jeff to re-enter the dating realm. Jeff gets himself caught up on his secretary, Lisa (A.J. Langer). Jeff and Lisa end up dating and falling madly in love with Lisa. Yet, meanwhile, Jeff's old college flame-Renee (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) is back in town and hears Jeff is dating again--and wants to partake in dating Jeff. Jeff is caught between his new love (Lisa) and his old flame (Renee). Sam tries to figure himself out and comes to terms with his sexuality-after secretly becoming attracted to his best friend, Jake (Jacob Smith).
Life After Kids:
Patrick Duffy plays Rick Johnson, a blue-collared husband and father living in Cincinnati. Rick and his beautiful wife, Donna (Jean Smart) have had and raised two handsome grown boys: Sean (Sean Faris) and Kyle (Bret Harrison). With Sean and Kyle away at different colleges, Rick and Donna start to enjoy their kid-free home. Rick at first is eager to live childfree, as Donna still misses her boys at first. Rick and Donna sell their home and move into a condo nearby the house of their best friends: Keith and Janet Harris (Tim Allen, Laurie Metcalf). The Johnsons and the Harrises' children are gone and begin to experience the ups and downs of having an empty nest.
Sutton-Davis:
Rob Estes plays Steve Davis, a 35 year old car Buffalo salesman, and Josie Bissett plays Kate Sutton, a 33 year old bank teller. Steve and Kate have been engaged for six months now. Steve and Kate decide to move in together. Steve and Kate's wedding planner, Nina (Joely Fisher) turns out to be their landlady as well. Nina becomes good friends with Steve and Kate overtime. A month before wedding, Kate learns she is pregnant. Kate and Steve fear their nosy and intrusive parents will find out their pregnancy secret before the wedding. Nina hits it off great with Steve's brother, Tim (Patrick Dempsey).

Women Of Success:
Poppy Montegomery and Emily Proctor play two gorgeous, smart, successful women who are best friends and share a New Jersey home together. Montegomery plays Trish Straton, a tough, hardworking detective for the New Jersey Police Dept. and Proctor plays Caitlin Monroe, a confident, down-to-business Assistant Distict Attorney, Trish and Caitlin prove brains can indeed come with beauty. They may have the brains, the looks, the high-paying, successful careers; yet neither of them have a man in their lives to share their lives with. The two show how women can "have it all" and still be single unfortunely. They show the ups and downs of successful and beautiful women and dating.
