*Ray and Debra's house*
Ray is in the bedroom making the bed as Debra walks into the room. Debra quickly covers her mouth to stifle a laugh. Ray looks over at Debra.

What?
<Debra>
What are you doing?
<Ray>
I'm making the bed.
<Debra>
No you're not! You're making a mess!
<Ray>
You're always telling me that I never do anything around here! Well I'm doing something!
<Debra>
Come on honey! You're worse than the kids! Let me help you.
Debra walks over to the corner of the bed and attempts to fix what Ray has done. Ray quickly steps between her and the bed.

<Ray>
I can make a bed just as good as you!
<Debra>
Fine.
Debra motions toward the bed.
<Debra>
Let's see.
<Ray>
Thank you.
Debra sits down in the chair in the corner of the room and starts to laugh as Ray begins making the bed.

Frank is sitting on the couch watching TV.

Marie storms into the living room from the kitchen.

Frank turns back around to look at Marie.

Marie becomes enraged with Frank and storms out of the living room into the kitchen. She proceeds to throw Frank's sandwich in the garbage.
Scene II
*Ray and Debra's house*
Debra is in the kitchen preparing lunch for Ally and the twins.
<Debra>
Lunch!
Ally, Michael, and Geoffery run into the kitchen and sit down at the table.
<Michael>
What's for lunch mom?
<Debra>
Macarroni and cheese.
The kids turn around to look at Debra.
<Debra>
Don't worry, I bought it at the store.
The kids turn back around with a sigh of relief. Debra proceeds to hand out lunch to the kids.
<Debra>
Where's your father?
<Geoffery>
Playing computer.
<Debra>
What?
<Geoffery>
He said he wanted to finish a level.

A game.
Debra becomes annoyed and walks over to the top of the basement stairs.

Did you not hear me say that lunch was ready?

Debra slams the door to the basement and walks back into the kitchen. She begins to dish out another bowl of macarroni when Marie walks in the door carrying a suitcase.

Hello dears.
<Debra>
Hi Marie.
<Ally, Michael, and Geoffery>
Hi Grandma.
Marie looks around the kitchine, noticing that Ray is not there.

Debra, where's Raymond?

In the basement.

He's playing a computer game.

Marie looks at all the children eating their macarroni.

Marie turns back to the children and Debra glares at her. Ray comes into the kitchen.

He sits down at the table.

Debra sets a bowl in front of him and Ray starts to eat.

Marie turns to look at Debra.

Debra gets her coat off the back of a chair and follows Marie out the back door.

*Frank and Marie's house*
Frank is still watching TV. Amy comes into the living room.

Hi Frank. Have you seen Marie?

Frank turns to look at Amy.

Hey, as long as you're up, would you mind fixing me a sandwich?

Amy goes into the kitchen as Frank smiles to himself. Robert comes into the living room without Frank noticing.

Robert looks at Frank for a minute with a puzzled look on his face.

Ray and Gianni are sitting on the couch in the living room while Debra is cleaning up in the kitchen.

Great dinner Deb!
<Debra>
Thanks Gianni, but don't lie.
Gianni hesitates for a minute.
<Gianni>

Debra rolls her eyes as she walks from the fridge to the sink.

Ray sighs to himself as he gets up and goes into the kitchen.

Debra throws the wet dishrag at Ray. Ray turns from the fridge to look at Debra.

She turns back to doing the dishes as Ray gets two bottles of beer out of the fridge and brings them into the living room.

Debra walks into the living room.

Debra sets down her book with a sigh and gets up.

Robert walks into the kitchen where Amy is making Frank a sandwhich.

Amy look up at Robert.

Marie's not here so I thought it would be nice if I did something for him.

Amy puts the sandwhich on a plate and brings it into the living room. Robert follows her. Amy hands the sandwhich to Frank.

Frank looks at the sandwich and then up at Amy.

Frank turns back to the TV and Amy looks at him.

Ray and Debra are in bed.

Debra gets out of bed and walks toward the door.
<Ray>
Where are you going?

To get a drink. Want something?

Debra walks out of the room. Debra walks downstairs into the kitchen and gets a glass out of the cupboard. She starts to walk toward the fridge when she hears a noise in the laundry room. She goes and opens the doors and all the dirty dishes tumble down around her.

*Frank and Marie's house*
Amy is sitting on the end of the bed. Robert walks into the room.
<Robert>
Amy?
Amy turns away from Robert.

Amy turns around to look at Robert.

Debra walks back into the bedroom and closes the door behind her. Ray turns over to look at her.

You told me you cleaned the kitchen.

And where did you put all the dishes?
<Ray>
In the dishwasher.

Oh, not in the laundry room?
Ray looks at Debra.

Ray gets out of bed.

Hey! You lied to me before I even thought about cleaning up the kitchen! That's what you wanted the whole time! For me to clean up the kitchen!

Debra throws a pillow at Ray.

Ray lays down on the bed and turns out the light. Debra is still standing there glaring at him.

*Frank and Marie's house*
Amy is laying in bed with the lights out. Robert comes back into the bedroom and closes the door behind him.

Scene VIII
*Frank and Marie's house*
Amy is sitting on the end of the bed. Robert walks into the room.
<Robert>
Amy?
Amy turns away from Robert.
<Robert>
Amy why can't you just talk to me.
<Amy>
You made your feelings perfectly clear in the living room. You're just like your father.
<Robert>
Hey..
Amy turns around to look at Robert.
<Amy>
I thought you respected me, I thought you were bigger than that. I didn't marry you to become your servant Robert!
<Robert>
I know that!
<Amy>
You just proved to me that you don't Robert.
<Robert>
Amy I...
Robert starts to sit down on the bed.
<Amy>
Don't even think about it.
Amy hands Robert a pillow and he sulks out of the room.
Scene IX
*Ray and Debra's house*
Debra walks back into the bedroom and closes the door behind her. Ray turns over to look at her.
<Ray>
I thought you wre getting a drink?
<Debra>
You told me you cleaned the kitchen.
<Ray>
I did.
<Debra>
And where did you put all the dishes?
<Ray>
In the dishwasher.
<Debra>
Oh, not in the laundry room?
Ray looks at Debra.
<Ray>
No...
<Debra>
I can't believe you Ray! How could you lie to me like that?
Ray gets out of bed.
<Ray>
Hey! You lied to me before I even thought about cleaning up the kitchen! That's what you wanted the whole time! For me to clean up the kitchen!
<Debra>
Don't even try it with me Ray! This is not the same and you know it!
<Ray>
This is exactly the same! You're mad at me for telling you a lie...well I'm mad at you for telling me a lie!
Debra throws a pillow at Ray.
<Debra>
I hope the couch is comfortable Ray. You're going to be spending a lot of time there!
Ray throws the pillow back at Debra
<Ray>
Shows how much you know. I'm sleeping here tonight so you're just going to have to deal with it.
Ray lays down on the bed and turns out the light. Debra is still standing there glaring at him.
<Debra>
Fine.
Debra gets in bed and turns off the light.
Scene X
*Frank and Marie's house*
Amy is laying in bed with the lights out. Robert comes back into the bedroom and closes the door behind him.
<Amy>
What are you doing Robert?
<Robert>
Going to sleep in my bed Amy.
<Amy>
Good one.
Robert puts his pillow on the bed and gets into bed.
<Amy>
Just stay on your side away from me.
<Robert>
As long as you do the same.
<Amy>
Fine.
<Robert>
Fine.

Scene XI
*Ray and Debra's house*
Ray and Debra are both asleep. A door slams downstairs.
<Robert>
Ray! Deb!
Robert is running up the stairs.
<Robert>
Ray! Deb!
Ray and Debra wake up. Robert bursts into the room.
<Ray>
What do you want?
<Robert>
Dad had a heart attack.
