Chapter 1- We Gotta Go

The rush of adrenaline surged through his veins as he quickened his pace towards the fictional zombies. He whipped his chainsaw from his black leather jacket with all his might striking the zombies with one hard blow after another. A thrilling sensation washed over him as the clamy skinned monsters groaned and wheezed before finally collapsing in total defeat.

Letting out a cry of triumph, Jimmy Blake was logged out of the 'Die, You Zombie Jerks' game and back to reality. The brown haired young man grinned at his two best friends, Hal Martin and Jazz Gilmore.

"Those zombies got their butss kicked!" Jimmy yelled victoriously.

" Not bad, Jimmy," Jazz commented as she prepared to log onto the 'Die, You Zombie Jerks' game herself. "Prepare to be exterminated out of the top list!"

"Oh, we'll see!" Jimmy laughed mockingly.

"Come on, Guys," Hal said as he punched in the command codes into his laptop. "It's just a game!"

Both Jimmy and Jazz rolled their eyes.

"'Die, You Zombie Jerks' log on, subject, Jazz Gilmore, going hot in 5….4…..3…"cried Jazz but then suddenly, Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward, burst into the room.

"All right, Hal, take Jazz out." Lady Penelope commanded. Her pink zip-up jacket and hot pink midriff showing T-shirt with a pink heart on the front were slightly dirty and so were her pink mini skirt, fishnet tights and combat boots. Her shoulder length blonde hair was messy due to the strong winds brewing outside. She was a little breathless and she was feeling a little bit tired.

Jazz stood up from her chair and asked worriedly what was wrong. She pushed a lock of her long red hair behind her ear as Lady Penelope explained what was going on.

"Nothing's really wrong, Jazz, well, not yet…" Penny said calmly.

"Whoa, I don't like the sound of that." Hal nervously said.

"The thing is, me and Parker are going to Haiti to assist Dr. Alain Zafra in his studies," Penny began. "We were scheduled to meet him in Haiti next week but one of his colleagues just called and said Alain was missing and so we have to go to Haiti pronto."

"We, that includes us, right?" Jazz asked inquisitively.

"No, Jazz," Penny said, shaking her head. "You can't come, not this time."

"But, Lady P, we always come!" Jazz protested.

"And you always get into trouble," responded Penny. "I just don't want anything to happen anymore."

Jazz's expression softened as she understood that Penny had a point. She looked up at Lady Penelope. "You rock, Lady P," she said softly. "We just don't want anything to happen to you."

Penny grinned and looked down at Jazz and said "Jazz, you always know the right buttons to push, don't you?"

They all laughed heartily and left Creighton-Ward Manor to start packing.

Chapter 2- We're In Haiti

In a matter of a few hours, Penny, Parker and the kids were already on their way to Port Au Prince, Haiti. They took FAB4, Penny's jet, which was equipped with many gadgets and equipment International Rescue's genius, Hiarm K. 'Brains' Hackenbacker had created.

Penny's chauffeur-bulter 'Nosey' Parker was flying with Penny sitting beside him. Hal was reading a magazine while Jazz was listening to her personal stereo and Jimmy in the meantime was taking a short nap.

An air current shift rattled the jet slightly, but not slight enough to keep Jimmy in his sleep. Rubbing his blue eyes and yawning loudly, Jimmy walked up to Penny and Parker and asked "Are we there yet?"

"In a ma'er of moments, Jimmy," Parker replied. "Better tell 'Al and Jazz to strap in."

Hal was Penny's FAB1 co-mechanic and also the nephew of President Sandra Foster. It was hard to tell that he was the American President's nephew dressed in a black leather jacket, blue jeans, a purple roll neck sweater and his Oakland Raiders baseball cap.

Sitting on a couch across to Hal was Penny's assistant Jazz. Although she saw Penny as the older sister she never had, she felt rather like a lady despite her usual rough and tumble attitude. She was swaying to the rhythm of the music from her personal stereo wearing a blue denim skirt, a pink midriff showing T-shirt, a blue denim jacket, red fishnet pantihose and black knee high boots.

"Yo, Hal!" Jimmy called loudly.

Hal looked up from his magazine and immediately sat down on his chair. Jazz looked up and saw all of them strapping in and got the message.

Jimmy couldn't stop himself and took a quick glance at his red haired friend. His heart skipped two beats when she smiled at him casually before once again returning her attention to the music poring into her ears.

Man, she is so hot. Jimmy thought to himself. He had always thought of Jazz as just a friend until recently when he noticed that a lot of guys in school have been flirting and making comments on how hot she was. Then, Jimmy felt protective and even angry at times. Now he realized he himself was developing a strong crush on her.

Upon arriving at Port au Prince, Penny and co took FAB1 to Les Cayes, a nearby city. They were to meet with the friend of the missing Dr. Zafra.

Les Cayes was a noise filled city. It was bedecked in colorful arrays of light, and lively people. All around them was laughter and festivity.

"This reminds me of an Acapulco festival, MiLady!" laughed Parker as he looked at all the frolicking.

"Yeah this place looks like a huge party!" grinned Jimmy.

"How are we going to find that guy?" Jazz asked Penny quizzically.

Penny rubbed her chin thoughtfully and said "Well, I met him once before when Elaine was in Russia for awhile."

"Lady Penelope?" asked a man with a slight French accent.

Penny spun around and came face to face with a familiar face. "Beau! Beau Bordeaux!" she cried out.

"Speak of the devil." whispered Jimmy to Jazz and she stifled a giggle.

"Beau, this is 'Nosey' Parker, my mechanic Hal, my assistant Jazz and Hal's assistant Jimmy." Penny said introducing them the dark skinned man.

Beau gave a small smile. "It is a pleasure to meet all of you. I wish your visit to Haiti was a more pleasurable one, but as you know my employer, Dr Zafra has been missing for quite sometime now. The local officials have done nothing but ignore my requests for an investigation. I had nowhere else to turn to so I called and thought perhaps you knew where he might be, Penelope. When I discovered that you had no knowledge of his whereabouts as well, I began to fear that he has been kidnapped."

"Any idea who it might be?" asked Penny seriously.

"Unfortunately yes," Beau began shaking his head sadly. "Dr Zafra was writing a paper on the local religious cults of Haiti and I suspect one of these cults have taken her because they did not well….appreciate the doctor's prying."

Parker looked slightly perplexed and asked "What kind of religious cult?"

Beau sighed heavily and replied "Are you familiar with the concept of voodoo?"

Their faces all seemed to tense up a bit. Voodoo was a supposed to be an old wives tale so to speak.

"The voodoo cults are very much alive here in Haiti and have gone into bigger proportions over the last year," Beau said depressingly. "I did not believe this myself until I saw it happen with my own eyes."

"Let me get this straight, a bunch of voodoo cultists kidnapped Dr Zafra?" asked Jazz in disbelief.

"In a mouthful yes, I know it is hard to believe but before this happened, the doctor began experiencing small but painful migraines which escalated to three to four hours of none stop headaches."

Hal shuddered and said "Don't worry 'bout the paranormal powers of the ancients, my aunt Sandra told me that they can be pretty destructive when put to evil uses."

They all felt somewhat disturbed with Hal's last comment for he knew what he was talking about.

Later on, Beau took them to Dr. Zafra's office where Parker began searching through Dr. Zafra's computer files.

"Crikey," cried Parker as he read through the reports on the computer. "It says 'ere that the local cultists discovered a way to channel their powers to a source to which they could do almost anything. It indicates 'ere that the source is still yet to be found. When the source is found, they'll take it's soul and present to it's leader to make 'im more susceptible to the ancient powers."

Jazz connected her laptop to Dr Zafra's computer and said "I'm downloading the files so Iris can take a look at them."

"So where do we start looking?" Jimmy asked them as he looked at Jazz's laptop.

"I think we should go to the hideout." Hal suggested

Penny was all geared up to take action and they were all about to leave when she stopped Jimmy and Jazz.

"You two stay here." she told them.

Jazz was about to protest when Jimmy stopped her.

Penny, Parker and Hal ran out with Beau waiting for them outside in his jeep. Jimmy and Jazz heard the engines roar and then, Jimmy grabbed her arm forcefully.

"What the hell?" Jazz protested.

"There's no way I'm just going to stay here!" Jimmy cried as he took two hoverboards out of his backpack and handed one them to Jazz.

"Penny's warnings never stopped us." said Jazz grinning as she and Jimmy jumped on their boards and tailed after the others.

"Can you still see them?" Jazz called out as she squinted trying to catch a glimpse of the jeep ahead of them.

"It's hard there's so much dust!" Jimmy yelled against the noise that the jeep's loud engines were making.

Jimmy and Jazz rode side by next to each other when Jimmy cried "Let's go faster, they can't be that far ahead!" He increased his speed and bolted ahead of Jazz.

"Hey!" she screamed. Sighing, she sped up to try and catch to Jimmy. She was almost near him when suddenly a hand came out of nowhere hitting her on her on stomach sending her flying off the hoverboard and rendering her unconscious as she hit the dirt filled ground.

Jimmy's attention was concentrated on catching up to the jeep that he barely even noticed that Jazz disappeared from behind him. He was still far off but he could see the outlines of the jeep. Strangely, Parker, Penny and Hal all got out of the jeep and went inside an establishment which resembled a cement box.

He decided to go on foot from here. "Come on, Jazz," he whispered softly. There was no response. Jimmy turned around and found Jazz gone. "Holy crud, now what?" Jimmy muttered frustratedly. Jazz was gone, where he had no idea. Hal, Penny and Parker were inside some strange looking house and he wasn't supposed to be where he was.

Penny's gonna kill me. Jimmy thought worriedly as he decided to go and follow them into the cement block instead of going back for Jazz. Jimmy hoped she was okay but he had a small nagging feeling that she was in danger.

Chapter 3- Caught

Jazz woke up with a terrible headache, in fact, it felt like everything hurt. Her arms, her limbs, her stomach, even her face. She tried to move but gave up in around thirty seconds.

Okay, Jazz, you can't move and you're in some straw hut. she thought desperately to herself. Opening her eyes widely, she saw faint light behind a thin screen with smoke coming out of incense sticks. She tried to move again and saw her reflection on a hovering mirror above her.

Jazz turned a deathly pale shade when she saw that nothing was tying her down. Holy crud, she thought as she took heavy deep breaths to calm herself. I'm not paralyzed, there's gotta be some explanation for this!

Looking at her reflection once more, she saw that black grease streaks have been drawn on her forehead.

Suddenly, she realized a very disturbing thought at sent a panic alarm straight to her brain. She was the source and she was going to loose her soul unless someone came to help her. But who? Jimmy was probably still following the truck and others, well, she had no idea what they were going to do.

Maybe, he noticed I was gone and decided to look. she thought desperately. Somehow, she had a sinking feeling that help wasn't about to arrive anytime soon.

Sensing herself being watched, she struggled to see who the other person was through the mirror. Jazz was anxious and a little scared to see the face of her abductor at the same time. She was in way, afraid of what she might see.

"Are you awake," asked the voice. "Ah yes. My pretty little fire haired girl, do not be afraid, you will soon be joined by your friends in that place you call heaven. If you are wondering why you cannot move or speak, it is because we will it so. The Tribe of the Jeremie will be victorious tonight thanks to you, my pretty."

She felt the stubborn and spirited Jazz slowly melt away as the voice gave out a high pitched laugh that could have driven her insane. She had never been so terrified in her whole life. The feeling of total helplessness to the situation was unbearable.

Right now, she would take back all those feminist things she's ever said to Jimmy if he just burst in through the door.

"No one is coming, my dear." the voice said as if reading her thoughts.

Jimmy quietly ran to the cement house where Penny, Hal and Parker had come inside. He wiped the sweat off his forehead with the back of his hand. Peering inside, Jimmy's eyes widened at the sight he saw.

Pakrer, Penny and Hal all looked the same, yet their eyes seemed so empty. As if their souls were sucked out of their bodies. They all looked like zombies.

They're all hypnotized, Jimmy thought to himself. That could only mean one thing, Beau must have been with the voodoo cult. That jerk. Jimmy couldn't believe that Beau had set them up. Now the question was what was he going to do? Barging in there right now would probably get him hypnotized as well and then what would happen? His next choice would be going after Jazz but he didn't want to leave Pakrer, Penny and Hal there.

"Okay, I guess there's only one thing left to do," Jimmy muttered to himself. Taking a deep breath, Jimmy approached the door in ramming speed. "Ahh!!!!!!!!" he screamed with all his might as he knocked the door open and burst into the room.

He looked around the room and saw Hal's face slightly flinch before everything went black.

It must have been hours before Jimmy woke up and found himself tied to a tree upside down. He struggled to loosen the ropes holding his hands together yet the ropes were like made out of steel. Momentarily giving up, Jimmy looked to his right where Parker, Penny and Hal were all seated around a campfire. They all seemed lifeless as drums began beating with a low thump-thump.

Jimmy tried to see what was happening but it was difficult because all the blood going to head was making him very dizzy.

Come on, Jimmy, Jimmy desperately thought as he worked harder in undoing the rope that tied his hands. Ironically, he was reminded of a scene from the Empire Strikes Back where Luke Skywalker was in nearly an identical situation. Just a little more! He winced as the stinging pain in his hands increased with every tug and pull he forced upon the rope. Finally with what felt like eternity, Jimmy's hands were out of the rope and he immediately began working on his feet which were tied to a branch on a tree.

Suddenly, the drums stopped and Jimmy saw a small man come to the center of the circle. He stepped into the fire and was not burned at all. That's no man, it's a boy! Jimmy thought as he was shocked that the leader of this cult was just a boy.

"Brothers and sisters! Today is the day, the day of triumph! Today, we will succeed!!!!!!!" the boy cried out with a very deep and masculine voice.

"Whoa." Jimmy said under his breath. The leader was in a body of a young boy but had the voice of a very grown and powerful man. But why? He pulled himself up to his feat and quietly trying to undo the knot hoping no one would notice him.

"The channel will open to us once more as it did for our ancestors!" the leader boomed with a voice that trembled the earth.

"The channel will open," Jimmy asked himself. Suddenly he realized something that made the situation much worse. "Jazz! Holy crud, she's the channel!"

Jazz was wide awake when she felt her body getting up.

No!!!!!!!!! her thoughts screamed but her body refused to stop. She knew she was walking out of the hut despite her every wish not too. The cold night breeze hit her like a block of ice. She wanted to shiver but the madman who abducted her refused to give her any control over her body. She saw Penny, Parker and Hal all sitting down around the fire where the madman was but it wasn't a madman, it was a madboy. A 10 year old boy did this to me? Jazz was overcome with surprise and disbelief. She was terrified of a boy yet he had the voice of an adult male. She was slowly moving towards the fire where he waited for her. She tried desperately to try and communicate to any of them when she caught a moving figure tied to a tree branch on the corner of her left eye.

Jimmy! she thought inwardly. She saw him trying to undo the ropes tied to his feet and she prayed hard that he would just do that.

Jimmy saw Jazz walking out of one of the huts. She was stiff and he could tell she wasn't hypnotized. Still something was wrong. She looked like she was trying to break free out of something yet the leader must have done something to her. Don't worry, Jazz, he thought. I'm gonna hurt that dude for doing this to you!

"Come on." Jimmy hissed impatiently. Suddenly the ropes gave in and Jimmy's feet fell forward. Close call! Grabbing the tree branch with his hands, Jimmy pulled himself up and quietly squatted still as he waited for his chance to act.

"Now, my Brothers and sisters," he said as Jazz's body reached the fire. "Concentrate your energy to her!"

All of the dark skinned people surrounding the fire except, of course, Penny, Hal and Parker all closed their eyes and extended their arms to the center where Jazz was.

Jimmy saw his chance as he slipped down from the tree and quickly moved his way towards Hal. Upon getting there, Jimmy violently shook Hal.

"Hal, snap out of it!" he whispered into Hal's right ear.

The American President's nephew seemed to just do that, snap out of it. He looked around and immediately understood the situation. He saw the cultists focusing their voodoo energies into the center where he saw Jazz was helplessly trapped.

"Jimmy, get Jazz out, her body's being controlled." Hal muttered softly. He would take care of the leader. Calming himself, Hal stretched out and focused his energy upon the center where the leader was behind Jazz. He tried to force him out of the path where the energy of the group was being transferred.

Jimmy ran to the center and pulled Jazz forcefully out of the hot flames. Strangely, her skin was so cold that it even had Goosebumps. "Jazz!" he said as he grabbed her shoulders and shook them. There was no response, her body was limp yet her eyes seemed to be screaming inside.

He brought her to Hal where he was locked in a mind battle. Hal was frowning as he concentrated harder, putting his powers to the limit. The leader was now very aware of his presence as he fought back, trying to reverse Hal attempts. Hal's forehead cringed as he pushed his energy further into the leader. Suddenly, the power flow the leader was receiving seemed to evaporate and so his shield against Hal's own energy. "No!!!!!!!!" the leader gave a final blood curling scream before dissolving into thin air.

Everyone seemed to snap out of it as well. The other Tribe mebers, Parker, Penny and Jazz, who looked relieved and exhausted.

"Boo sha!!!!!" she cried out. Jazz stood up and jumped like she's never jumped before. Her episode of not having any body control has taught her to appreciate these little things such as jumping and talking.

"What the hell happened?" Penny asked in confusion.

"Yeah, I wanna know the same thing," Parker added.

"I'll tell you, Penny but first," Jazz began as she walked towards Jonny. "I've got a little something to take care of."

She spun Jimmy around who was talking to Hal, gave him a short, sweet kiss on the lips and said "That's for being my hero."

Jimmy was startled as he felt Jazz's soft lips on his. He blinked twice with his mouth hanging open as she pulled away from him. "Uh…..uh….." was all he could say as the others laughed.

"So that's what happened!" Penny said as she shook her head in amazement.

Chapter 4- At Creighton-Ward Manor

It was a week after the incident in Haiti and Penny, Parker, Hal, Jazz and Jimmy were all gathered around the fireplace at Creighton-Ward Manor while watching the Simpsons on TV. They were all recuperating from their injuries and stresses. Basically, they were all back to their usual selves with the exception of Lil who was feeling a little bit angry from being left behind during the mission.

"Yeah, turns out Dr. Zafra was hypnotized as well, she was being held prisoner in one of those cement blocks." Jimmy said.

"What I don't understand is why was the leader in the body of a kid?" Jazz asked them in confusion.

"Well, that's one of the questions we might never get an answer to." Hal replied as he looked at the burning fire.
