I'm watching it on HBO as I programmed on my DVR. It was a great movie, but I haven't seen it in 14 years since it came on. It has this opening sequence as well as the closing sequence if you are a Looney Tunes freak. I posted it on GAC Forums discussing the opening and closing sequence for "Gremlins 2". It was animated by the late Chuck Jones, but the entire movie itself was directed by Joe Dante. I know Joe Dante an excellent director for the film, he recently directed the film "Looney Tunes: Back in Action". I remember one time, Sci-Fi Channel aired the film because the scene was butchered due to the fact there was a movie theater scene in which Hulk Hogan, a WWE wrestler made a appearence. That scene was removed from the Sci-Fi Channel. All you can see is uncut on HBO. Anybody seen it?

I haven't seen this one in a long while. I remember seeing the original Gremlins when I was about seven, and it scared me to death! I think the second installment was even darker and more sinister than the original movie...

I like both "Gremlins" movies. They're the best.

The sequel was a joke. The first one was much darker. I like it dark. I like it serious. At least semi-serious. Gremlins 2 was not.
I cringed every thirty seconds as I watched Gremlins 2. It just wasn't right...

Chuck Jones made a cameo appearance in the first "GREMLINS" movie.
