Lately there are 2 songs that I like. The new song (Hung Up ..or something like that) by Madonna is pretty funky, kinda like Euro Disco. And for some reason I like Nickelback's new song "Photograph"....it makes me miss my friends and places back in BC (which is what and where they are singing about ) How about you guys?

I've always really disliked Lee Ann Womack...until this year. I really like her songs I May Hate Myself in the Morning and He Oughta Know That By Now. I'm even considering checking out more of her latest album.

3 doors down is a one hit wonder artist in my personal point of view, their songs all suck except for kryptonite which is definitely one of the best songs of all time.

I can name a few:
I'm no fan of Anne Murray, but I love the sound of the ending to her song"You Needed Me".
Not much into Diana Ross or The Supremes.Though I love"Theme From Mehogany(Do You Know Where You're Going To?)"as well as"Upside Down".And I love the sound of"The Happening".It sounds so upbeat and happy.

I think Jennifer Lopez is one of the least talented, most opportunistic, tarts to come out in the past decade. I think she sucks terribly... but yet I won't lie that I think "If You Had My Love" was an irresistable little r&b song that kinda sounded like an early disco record with it's funky bassline and violins.
Same comments, replace "Jennifer Lopez" with "Britney Spears", and I will admit to thinking Toxic and Everytime was a great one-two punch from her.

I think the "Eurodisco" comes to us via the sample of ABBA's "Gimme Gimme Gimme"

I'm not too crazy about Eminem but I do like "Lose Yourself" and there's another one of his, I'm not sure of the title, but he says "This looks like a job for me..."
I know one of you know it!!

I feel the same way. Couldn't stand Eminem, but then when he came out with "Lose Yourself", I had to give him credit, it was a good record.

I'm not a Dan Fogelberg fan, but I like his early eighties hits "Leader of the Band" and "Same Auld Lang Syne." The former song stands out because he wrote it about his father, and you don't hear many songs expressing that much reverence for dads. :)

I don't think I'd ever heard that song before, but I just noticed they played a little bit of it on When Disco Ruled The World. I'm currently watching it on VH1 Classic, thought it was Madonna at first but once the vocals began, it was clearly ABBA's original.
