I personally liked them both. Chrissy was SO funny and i LOVED her lil dumb comments! Carol was really great and being a mom and she really cared for her kids.

Carol seems uptight about everything. I like Chrissy much better. She was more funny & free than Carol.

She definitely looked better at 50 on "SxS" than at 30 on "3's Co." She had her teeth done and all that stuff, but she is still gorgeous.

Hey Feen, toldya I was gonna try to get on here!!!:)
Yup it's me just using a different user name(me b'day!!!:))
Anyways back to buisness:
I'd say Chrissy,'cause she was sooo much more sweeter,
and there was no-one like her.
Carol was more like a Carol Brady clone.
Ok,I stopped watching the show when they moved to CBS.
That was one of the DUMBEST moves in tv as SBS was one
of the best sitcoms at that point that ABC had.

Suzanne Somers played the role of Carol Foster Lambert the best, by far.

A Carol Brady clone is an honor IMHO; "The Brady Bunch" is one of the best shows ever.

The Brady Bunch,
The Brady Bunch,
I can't get enough of
The Brady Bunch!!!

Hi all,
I'm no expert on "Step By Step," having only recently seen a handful of the episodes for the first time on the ABC Family Channel 's reruns.

But, in my opinion, an intelligent, more mature and much sexier great mom beats a sweet, innocent airhead, whose greatest talent is making her breasts bounce around. The whole concept of "Chrissy" got old and sickening very quickly.

I liked Chrissy Snow, but I get aggrivated by how the character's dizzyiness became peer stupidity that I really found hardly funny. Compare how Chrissy spoke and acted (not to mentioned looked) season one and two of TC to season three. The unbelievable stupidness really started the last season the Ropers were on (season 3), but got even worse by the time Mr. Ferley was the landlord (4) and her hair was PLATINUM blonde.

I like the Old Chrissy better than Carol, and I'd have to say even the Newer Chrissy but only because I like TC better than SBS. I was glad to see Suzanne Somers come back in a new sitcom in the 90s though. The part in an episode where Carol is watching TC is hilarious.

Chrissy, Carol is too serious! And she "does things" too much with Frank!

Hi all,
Evidently, some people on this board feel that being a mother means being grumpy, uptight and too serious. That's not what being a mother means -- it means loving, having *some* intelligence, maturity and a sense of responsibilty.

What -- if you don't snort, make your breasts bounce around and act stupid, you're being grumpy, uptight and too serious?

Suzanne showed in "Step By Step" that intelligent, mature and responsible can also be funny and appealing.

I really can't decide. I like both Suzanne's characters. I thought it was funny how dumb Chrissy was on "Three's Company," but I thought she was great as the mother/wife/step-mother on "Step by Step." When you have a full-time job and seven kids to care for you're bound to be uptight at times. So overall, I'd have to say both Chrissy and Carol were great.

She also played on the short lived sitcom called shes she sheriff. He charactr on 3's company was okay but they took the stupidness a little to far, just like they did with Kelly Bundy, when she was looking at the want ads and say a car for 84k and then Bud says oh don't forget the K in your name for Kelly and she says yeah right there is another K.

She did a great job of acting on both shows and did okay on shes the sheriff. She did play on an episode of Full house when she was waiting to use the phone and Steve says to D.J. you will never guess who wants to use the phone and he says it is really Suzanne Somers.

Watch that episode of full house and read what college D.J. has on her sweat shirt, Slippery Rock, a college I attended before I transfered and no the college is not in California, it is in Pennsylvania.

Chrissy!Chrissy!Chrissy! But I remember the episode where Carol says she might be pregnant, she acted like Chrissy in a scene!

Frank:How could this happen?
Carol:Well you should know, you were there

Did the Three's Company producers get mad at Suzanne for acting like Chrissy in that scene?I remember in True Hollywood Story:Three's Company that they signed some forms that she could not dress or act like Chrissy in anyway

Well, not everything you see in those movies is true. Besides if she had already been fired from "Three's Company," I guess they really couldn't do anything to stop her. Just my thoughts on this.
