OK, I'm showing my age, but before I got into the harder music, I loved the Osmond Brothers. I had alot of their albums(and still do!!), including a live one I used to listen to all the time. I always wanted to see them in concert, but never got to.

I got into Steppenwolf in 1972 when I was ten. By that time, the band had broken up, but for years I was into "Magic Carpet Ride", "Born to Be Wild", "The Pusher", and others.

I honestly can't remember back to the very first group that I liked, but after hearing the Smashing Pumpkins Siamese Dream album back in 1993, I went out and bought a guitar. I'm pretty sure one of my first albums like from Poison or something like that, or REM's Document maybe.

my first fave's gotta be Olivia Newton-John when I was still in diapers. I just remember begging my mom and older sister to play the Physical and Xanadu records over and over again, this was circa 1982 when Physical was actually not considered embarassing, lol

Strangely enough, my first favorite was Weird Al Yankovic. I always hated music up until I was like 15 years old, until I discovered his brilliant parodies. Somehow, it got me liking music more and more.
