The Good Old Days


J.T. finds out he mistakenly passed English his senior year of high school and must return to Port Washington High School for one year to make up the class. Trying to make the time go by faster, J.T. joins the school's bowling team. When J.T. makes the team, he quickly becomes friends with teammate D.J., who is also a senior and in J.T.'s English class.

When it's time for the first game of the season, Frank and Carol attend the game with Karen and Al. Both girls fall for D.J. and a sibling grudge begins. In the meantime, Frank actually knew D.J. when Frank did work for D.J.'s dad. Frank thinks highly of D.J. and likes him.

However, Carol, who also knew D.J., hates him. Carol mentions a time where D.J. poured soda on her brand new Honda. D.J. admits it is true but claims it was not intentional. Carol doesn't buy it.

When a member of the opposing team approaches Carol, Karen, and Al, D.J. steps in. The player kisses Al but not before D.J. cracks the kid and beats up 6 of his teammates.

This is where Carol develops respect for D.J. In the meantime, when Karen is not around, Al asks D.J. out. D.J. accepts but unfortanutely, the cops show up at the bowling alley and D.J. must go to the police station for questioning.

The cops believe D.J. and outside the station is Al. The episode ends with D.J. and Al making out in front of the building.
