Actually, James Hetfield and the other guys of Metallica did have physical fights with Dave Mustaine and kicked him out. He was being drunk and antisocial, and he was outta there.

You guys should have checked out Gigantour this summer, with Megadeth and Anthrax co-headlining. BOTH WERE AWESOME!!!!! :rock: :rock: :rock:
All original members of Anthrax were back, and though Dave Mustaine has a new lineup, his new guitarist Glen Drover is AMAZING!!!!!

i know they've fought a lot in the past. dave seems to still be pissed sometimes about metallica kicking him out, though he talked a lot of **** about james and the other guys within past past year or two, james responded in an interview saying that he's a great guy and just has problems with overthinking things and that the media "eggs him on."

yeah i saw megadeth on gigantour with fear factory and dream theater, when it was over i yelled at dave to say hi to lars for me. jokingly of course. but it was really awesome.

I would say, however, that Metallica deserves to be considered at least in the Top 3 Greatest bands of all time, perhaps up there with the Beatles and Led Zeppelin. It's amazing that after all they've been through, they are still together and have stood up to so much adversity which would have destroyed lesser bands.

OKAY, OKAY, METALLICA ARE THE SECOND GREATEST BAND IN THE WORLD, BUT ONLY SECOND TO THE ROLLING STONES, BECAUSE THEY HAPPEN TO BE OPENING FOR THEM THIS WEEKEND SOMEWHERE ON THEIR CURRENT TOUR!!! AND THE STONES HAVE BEEN AROUND FOREVER!!!! (at least since 1962, when I was born.)

At least Metallica have the courage to re-invent themselves and take creative risks.
