Hello. If you could give me your brief opinion, it would be much appreciated. I’m writing a paper for my Philosophy class at UVM with the focus being Marilyn Monroe’s death…which is listed as a “suicide” but many believe to have been a cover-up. I’ve been doing a lot of research on the topic i.e. collecting books, articles (this month’s Playboy actually had a great in-depth look at the whole story, including transcripts written by her to her psychiatrist…as did the LA Times back in August) films, etc…but I also thought to ask specific people throughout the net about their thoughts on the case.
Hopefully this topic won’t lead to too much flaming etc. And please be nice to the newbie! Like I said, any info would be great.
Thanks and think snow!

I just read about how she died on the same day that she was supposed to remarry Joe Dimaggio, I thought that was interesting...yet very curious.

Like George Reeves' death, Marilyn Monroe's demise is another one of Hollywood's great unsolved mysteries. We will probably never know the
whole truth. From what I have read and heard, I suspect foul play. The
death scene was too neat and tidy not to be a setup.

I think her death was a murder in my opinion. I saw the film "Norma Jean and Marilyn" a few months ago. She seemed to have a crappy life. If she had committed suicide, I wouldn't say I blame her for doing so. But, I think foul play was involved. How 'bout the supposed relationship she had with President Kennedy? It's a long shot, but maybe all three of them: Marilyn, Robert and Jack were killed in a conspiracy. Oh well, I guess the truth won't be known for a long time, if ever. I do find the mystery sorrounding her death interesting.
