I need some advice and hope that somebody out there can help me.
To make a long story short; I don't know what to do about my future.
At the present time, I am debating on whether to get another job or go back to school.
I'm 36 years old and right now I am trying to see what I want to be and which direction to go with my life. Since the age of 18 (approx.) I went through so many jobs and I'm tired of it. I want a job where I will be happy, stabile, etc....
So, if you've been there and/or are going through that right now; please send me a message with advice cause I really need it. Thanks!!

go back to school! if you do'nt do it now, you probably won't ever do it. Get an AA, or just some kind of certificate... screw how much money you'll make, and just pick a major that will make you HAPPY!

I think that is the best advice, I wish someone had said it to me when I was younger:(

If you don't want to to school and sit thru an actual class, look and see if there are an online classes offered thru universities or community colleges in your area. A lot of certificates are done online or thru a correspondense class now. I'm getting 2 certificates thru www.pcdi.com right now and I think they'll help me get a better job than the one I have. Education never hurts!

only thing about online classes is that you have to be self-motivated... it's easy to slack off, cause you don't have a teacher or any peers you have to face in person... but if you can motivate yourself, it's a great thing to take them online and go to class in your PJs.

I'm having a crisis with that also. I'm 21 in a few days, in college, and I have no idea what I want to do when I grow up. People always ask the same questions. "What do you enjoy doing" and "What are you good at". The answer to those for me are Writing, although I doubt I could make a career out of it. Just because you enjoy doing something, it doesn't mean you'll be able to make it in the business world. The answer to the second question, is that I can't think of anything that I'm good at. I know supposedly everyone is good at something, but I haven't found it yet I guess. I could use some advice too.

Well, once again I am struggling with my life and future; no job once again and no direction. I tried school but it was hard and just not the right time.
I just recently quit my job last month and having a hard time finding another one. The problem is when I find a job that works for me, I am not happy with it after awhile and want out. Then, the jobs I do see out there that I want and would like, don't work out cause either it's a fast paced environment, stressful, phone work involved, etc....and it's no good for me cause I'm nervous, panic easily, etc....so I can't win either way. :wallbang

well if you planned on eating again why did you quit a job without having another one?
