After Cheers I never would have thought that Fraiser would be such a popular show. He's a good character but still I never thought they would spin him off.

So which Character do you think they should spin off and what would the show be about???

I've always thought that the "whole" of the cast of Seinfeld was greater than the sum of it's parts...this ensemble cast had fantastic chemistry...

The fact that Kramer and George's shows both bombed probably indicates that either:

1) The public doesn't want to see these people other than in their Seinfeld roles... or

2) Both Cosmo and George just picked two really bad shows to try on their own..

(I didn't see either show, because I didn't think they could be any good for the reason stated above).

I heard that JLD (Elaine) has been OK'd for a pilot, but is being pretty closed-mouthed about it...we'll have to see what happens...

(I'm not crazy about Fraiser as a show , either, but I admit it's been popular for a long time). As a rule, I don't like members of ensemble casts spinning off their own shows...IMHO, they're never as good (e.g. I loved Rhoda on MTM, but hated "Rhoda" the show)...

But actually, none of these shows (Kramer's, George's or Elaine's) really qualifies as a "spin off" since they're not playing the same characters..

I don't think any of the Seinfeld characters should ever spin off a show where they're playing themselves (although I'd probably watch "Elaine" since I like JLD a lot...I think she's beautiful)..

If anyone gets a spinoff it should be one of the supporting Characters. I would suggest either Newman or Uncle Leo.:D

Why spin off when you could have all of them back? They are all out of jail now, and they could start a second Seinfeld show. The chemistry between Jerry, George, Elaine, and Kramer is chemistry that will not be duplicated between anyone else.

I think Newman or Banya would be fantastic choices. I remember there was talk of a Jackie Chiles spinoff, but for some reason, it never materialized.

They should do a show about Jerry's parents and their life at the retirement community in Florida.

I'd watch it. I was a big fan of the Seinfeld's. I always liked the episodes that they were in. A Bania show would be interesting as well.

Hate to say it, but at a diffent time as a comeback/spin-off it'd be tuff to duplicate the chemistry even by the same fabulous cast. That's why these things don't happen often. I'd watch, but wouldn't expect Seinfeld.

I agree Newman & Bania are thinkable spins.

I doubt there will ever be any spinoff or reunion show. Jerry wanted to end the show once the quality started going downhill, and even if they tried to bring the show back with all four main characters, it could never live up to the original. They could have become famous and sucessful after their jail time but that would no longer be funny, or they could still be losers and that would no longer be funny - it would be depressing. Seinfeld will live on forever in reruns and that's where it will stay.

I would love to see a spinoff with Newman. If not him I'd say either Puddy or Babu. But personally, I don't think a spinoff of Seinfeld would work out. I could be wrong; just look at Frasier.

i dont think a spin off is a good idea for seinfeld. like someone else said, it was so succesful and they ended at an unexpected part where nobody really thinks a show will end. but if they come back, it should be as a reunion, just the four of them coming together sharing memories, and clips. for one example of how a sitcom should end when its good, look at friends: they should have stopped the show last year or the year before. now its just stupid. i used to watch it all the time, and now i could care less bc its simply not good anymore. something to think about!!!
