NEEDLES FOUND IN GIRL'S CANDY

Two sewing needles were found in a young girl's halloween candy last night in St. Denis sur Richelieu, 40 kilometres east of montreal. The 11-year-old
noticed the needles when she bit into two of her candies. She was not injured, Surete du Quebec Constable Gerard Carrier said.
"Make sure you check the candy before eating it," he added.

it's kind of odd... parents always preach "don't take candy from strangers"... but they don't mention "except on Halloween"

According to The History Channel's " The Haunted History Of Halloween" most cases of candy tampering that were reported was found that unbelievably the poisonings and razorblades/needles discovered were put there by relatives of the victims.

What is so marvelous and great about Halloween is Trust. We go to and open doors to strangers when never on any other day of the year we would not.
This tampering of treats undermines our trust in our fellow man which is a tragedy. When I was a little kid this was unheard of! A pox on these Sicko's!:o

Shades of Halloween II.

There was this scene in that movie where this kid swallowed a razorblade after eating a piece of Halloween candy. It wasn't until last year when I found out what that scene was all about.

Wow, that's a shocking thing I ever heard of. I'm glad that she wasn't injured and I was thinking that she is about to eat the needles.
