In the episode " Alice and The Blonde" Alice appears to be jealous of another women. There are many episodes in which Ralph is jealous of another man. Can anyone think of any other times in which the shoe is on the other foot? My favorite quote from this episode " Isn't that a good idea TUBBY ? "
Yes . . . the episode in the "Trip-to-Europe" saga (called "You're In the Picture" in the 1966 color version) in which blackmailers in Spain fake a picture of Ralph with another woman.

I can't think of any other "Classic 39" episodes which show Alice being jealous. And jeez, even in "Alice and the Blonde", she had no reason to be jealous of Rita. Rita may have been a blonde, but I certainly never thought that she was ever in Alice's league in the looks department. Alice was gorgeous.
One thing I thought was funny in that episode was when Ralph and Ed apologize to the girls for coming in late, and then Ralph announces that he and Ed are taking the girls out the next night to Bert Wiedemeyer's (sp?) house... but Ralph mis-pronounces Bert's last name... then Alice asks who's Bert Wiedemeyer, but she pronounces it correctly, even though that was apparently the first time she heard the name mentioned by Ralph, since she didn't know who Bert was.
I always figured that Alice must have known that Ralph flubbed his line at the time, but made a decision on the spot to pronounce his name correctly, even though Ralph messed up the cue...
That's a great episode... I love when Alice catches Ralph sneaking in and asks him "Ralph, do you know what time it is?" Ralph: "Yeah, it's a little after 11"
Alice: "Your right...it's 3 hours after eleven". Great line.

It was the episode where Ralph was so attentive to Rita in an effort to score points with Bert, who was an executive at the bus company. One of the most memorable ad-libs came from Norton "Leave it there, the cat will get it" after cookie crumbs fall on the floor.

I didn't realize that the "Leave it there..." line was ad-libbed... Ralph's reaction and Alice's annoyed reaction were so real, I thought it was just part of the script...
What a group that was! Pure magic!
