I have been wondering this for a while, how old were Mike and Gloria during the first season. I thought they were in there mid 20's but then after hearing Archie's age and thinking that Mike and Lionel were older for being in college I got confused.

I would say in between 19 and 21 during season 1

When the show first started, Sally Struthers was 23 and Rob Reiner was 24. So I guess their ages on the show was supposed to be 3-4 years Younger since Mike was in College

I don't think they were supposed to be 19 years old. I just don't see Archie allowing a 19 year old marry.

If you have access to the pilot check it out again. They said how long Archie and Edith had been married and I believe that Gloria was born a year after that. I don't know what if any age difference existed between Gloria and Mike, but I do know that Lionel was 22 in the Jeffersons' first season.

In one episode where Archie takes the How long you planned to live test, I think it is stated how old Archie is. I do remember when he took the test he didn't live to get social security. I sort of fiqured on the age of Archie to find Gloria's age.

I forgot to, I think he said he was either 48 or 51
