i just started trolling here a few days ago... i've always been a big UM fan (much to the amusement of my friends), but i haven't seen the newer episodes; such is life without cable. it's great to read about those old episodes. i'm surprised i still remember so many.
anyhow, i always got impatient with "lost loves" and "the unexplained" segments... i always just wanted to see the murders and missing persons. i don't consider myself to have a morbid fascination with such things, i just thought they were the most compelling segments. and no, i'm not cold-hearted when it comes to lost loves...in fact i thought they deserved their own show so the cases could get more focused attention.
from what i've seen on these posts, it looks like others gravitate toward the gruesome stuff too. most of these posts are about those kinds of segments. i haven't seen a post yet that says, "hey, did they ever catch those aliens flying over that small town?" LOL.
