Next New W&G episode "The Old Man And The Sea" 10/13/05

Grace goes on a blind date and Jack gives Will swimming lessons.

Not a very funny episode. I don't understand why the writers continue to write story lines where Will hurts Jack feelings or Grace hurts Karen's feelings.

Will not wanting swimming lessons from Jack was too much like the time Grace didn't want relationship advice from Karen or when Ellen didn't want Grace to babysit her kids without Will present. Surely something more creative can be thought up instead of these people not trusting their friends, hurting their feelings and then apologizing at the end of the episode.

Would a good smack to the writers heads help them write something good? I didn't laugh at all watching this episode.
