The Trio
This sitcom is about three college-aged best friends who buy and share a Milwaukee house, which is located nearby their college. The friends include: the sarcastic, ladies man-Jamie Winters (Milo Ventimiglia), the fun-loving, daredevil-Bryan Matthews (Jensen Ackles), and the wise and sensitive guy-Steve Phelps (Jared Padalecki). Jamie, Bryan, and Steve are all college sophomores attending University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The guys have been best friends ever since the first day of junior high. Jamie is majoring in Marketing, Bryan is majoring in Physical Therapy, and Steve is majoring in Law (he wants to be a lawyer like all the other Phelps men in his family). The guys's house is also occupied by their girlfriends most of the time. Bryan's steady girlfriend, Rachel Haskins (Ashley Olsen) is gorgeous and book-smart, yet she sometimes lacks common sense. Rachel also attends UW-Milwaukee and is a Marketing major (like Jamie). Rachel and Bryan have been high school sweethearts ever since their freshman year. Steve's beautiful girlfriend, Skyler Dalton (Lacey Chabert) has a heart of gold, yet a mind of her own and not afraid to let others know it. Skyler also attends UW-Milwaukee and is a Culinary Arts major. Jamie is not fond of monogamus relationships, yet that doesn't slow down the girls flocking after him. Rachel and Skyler live on campus in the dorms (not roommates, but on the same floor). The guys and their girlfriends experience firsthand the trials and tribulations of living with your peers. The five 20-year-olds come across the topics of college, jobs/careers, sex, virginity, girlfriends, relationships, friends, families, enemies/nemesis, finances and money, and pregnancies/pregnancy scares--plus much more along the way.
